    Abstract: Apparatus for use in capping a plumbing system vent pipe during testing of the plumbing system. The apparatus includes a capping member for capping the vent pipe which includes a mechanism responsive to force for removal of at least a portion of the capping member by an operator located remote from the plumbing system vent pipe. The plumbing system capping member is highly visible and may be removed from ground level.
