Abstract: An electrical receptacle box apparatus, in combination with a wall structure that includes an upright wall stud. The electrical receptacle box apparatus is constructed and arranged for securing to the upright wall stud. The wall structure forms a barrier that defines and demarcates adjacent rooms. The electrical receptacle box apparatus includes an electrical receptacle box having oppositely facing first and second component securing surfaces and a mounting surface, fasteners for securing the electrical receptacle box to the wall stud by securing the mounting surface of the electrical receptacle box to a side surface of the wall stud, a first electrical component positioned within the electrical receptacle box at the first component securing surface of the electrical receptacle box, and a second electrical component positioned within the electrical receptacle box at the second component securing surface of the electrical receptacle box.

Abstract: A guide wire assembly for the support of electrical cabling that extends from an electrical source point, such as an electrical pole, to a use location. The guide wire assembly includes a housing having a base end, an extended end and a longitudinal passage extending between the base end and extended end; an insert constructed and arranged for positioning within the longitudinal passage and having a center bore; a threaded rod having proximal and distal rod ends, the distal end of the threaded rod mating with the center bore of the insert; a coil spring disposed within the longitudinal passage of the housing and about the insert; a first attachment mechanism supported at the proximal end of the threaded rod and for support of a guide wire; and a second attachment mechanism supported at the base end of the housing.

Abstract: A bonding device for providing an electrical ground to a plurality of remote devices from a main junction box with a main ground cable. The bonding device includes an elongated electrically conductive housing having a through passage for receiving therethrough the main ground cable. The electrically conductive housing further includes a plurality of passage holes that each extend substantially transverse to the elongated through passage, and with each of the passage holes for receiving a ground wire associated with one of the remote devices. Fasteners retain the ground wire in each corresponding passage hole.

Abstract: A novel technique for ventilation and heat exchange is disclosed called Mixed-mode Liquid Ventilation (MMLV). This technique uses an endotracheal catheter to add and remove liquid from the lungs continuously and/or cyclically, and deliver gas at a rate independent of the delivery of liquid. This technique produces small-scale mixing of gas and liquid in the airways, allowing for efficient gas and heat exchange. Medical uses for the technique are disclosed. These uses include induction and reversal of hyperthermia, and hypothermia.
