  • Patent number: 4327809
Abstract: A battery tray for an automotive vehicle is constructed for use as a replacement item and is adapted to receive the great majority of commercially available lead storage batteries. The battery tray is constructed with a rectangular floor bounded by edge retainers and with three spaced sunken wells arranged along the length of the floor. A pair of spaced apart elongated slots are defined in each of the end wells parallel to the longer floor sides and a circular aperture is defined therebetween. At least one elongated transverse slot is defined in the center well.

  • Patent number: 4258004
Abstract: A disk shaped air freshener includes opposed mating trays which define a cavity therebetween and which are engaged for rotation relative to each other. Windows are defined in both of the trays, and openings to the cavity are increased, decreased, or shut entirely by relative rotation of the trays to alter the alignment of the windows. One tray has an axial sleeve and the other has several cantilevered arms which fit through the sleeve and which engage a radial groove in the sleeve to the hold the trays together in relatively rotatable fashion. A scented element is confined within the cavity between the trays and is allowed to provide a freshening scent through openings defined by the aligned windows in the tray. An adhesive pad is centrally located on one of the trays at the axial center of the air freshener.

  • Patent number: 4197271
Abstract: An air freshener for use, for example, in an automotive vehicle in which an annular scented pad is disposed within a hollow housing formed of mating, shallow, pan-shaped tray sections. One of the tray sections includes an annular axial hub. The other tray section has a guide extending outward therefrom and engageable with the hub to releasably secure the tray sections together with the scented pad entrapped therein. A restraining ridge about the hub holds the pad in position. A double sided pressure sensitive adhesive is fastened to one of the tray sections and is used to secure the housing to a surface within the atomotive vehicle in immobile fashion.
