Publication number: 20240186102Abstract: A charged particles beam column for inspecting a sample in a sample plane is presented. The charged particles beam column comprises: a charged particles source generating a charged particles beam propagating along a general propagation path towards the sample plane; and at least one charged particles beam shaping unit. The charged particles shaping unit comprises at least one high-frequency electromagnetic radiation generator located in a vicinity of said general propagation path of the charged particles beam and controllably operated to perform synchronized generation of said high-frequency electromagnetic radiation towards at least one interaction region in said general propagation path, to cause interaction between said radiation and the charged particles, thereby directly affecting energy properties of the charged particles passing through said at least one interaction region in the general propagation path and directly affecting spectral resolution of the charged particles beam at said sample plane.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 11, 2024Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: Raphael DAHAN, Ido KAMINER, Michael YANNAI, Tal FISHMAN

Patent number: 11993504Abstract: A beverage dispensing unit includes a dispensing valve configured to be fluidly coupled to at least one beverage source, one or more ingredient pumps configured to be fluidly coupled to one or more ingredient sources, a dispensing manifold fluidly coupled to the dispensing valve and the one or more ingredient pumps, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive a recipe from a user, wherein the recipe indicates an amount of each ingredient of one or more ingredient sources. The controller is further configured to operate the one or more ingredient pumps to inject one or more of the ingredients into the dispensing manifold according to the recipe, and open the dispensing valve to allow a volume of beverage from the beverage source to flow through the dispensing manifold. The volume of beverage mixes with the one or more ingredients in the manifold and flushes the ingredients out of the manifold.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Modern Dispense, LLCInventors: Justin Carson, Joe Balish, Christopher Armenio, Michael Dougherty, Jason Kocher, Adam Fishman, Shaun Lynch

Patent number: 11944770Abstract: An expandable introducer sheath with an interlock dilator. The present technology provides an expandable sheath with a step feature inside its distal opening, and a dilator with an interlock that includes a catch surface configured to engage with the step feature and resist further relative movement so that the body of the dilator is prevented from exiting the distal end of the expandable sheath. This interlocking engagement may allow the dilator to be used to extend and maintain tension on the expandable sheath during insertion into a patient, and then to be retracted from the expandable sheath by pulling the dilator in the opposite direction. The present technology also provides a dilator hub with a spring mechanism configured to achieve and maintain a desired tension on the expandable sheath and to prevent overextension of the expandable sheath when the dilator is being inserted into the expandable sheath.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2023Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: Abiomed, Inc.Inventors: Christopher N. Korkuch, Robert Fishman, Michael Thomas Finnegan, Charles DeLorenzo, Andrew Gentile, Anne Gabrielle McLoughlin, Robert Swierczek, Matthew D'Agostino, Jonathan Barry

Patent number: 9724364Abstract: An aerosol hydrogen peroxide mixture agent with trigger sprayer that can be easily held in one hand. The hydrogen peroxide agent is in a bag inside a can and under pressure from air or nitrogen or mixture thereof, and can only be initially opened and released by pulling the tab of the trigger sprayer. The trigger assembly cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The can is cylindrical canister housing and has a dip tube that goes to the bag of the can to the hydrogen peroxide mixture agent. There is propellant composed of air or nitrogen or mixture thereof in the can that pushes on the bag holding the hydrogen peroxide mixture agent up through the dip tube to the valve operative and then to the actuator stem up through the trigger sprayer.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2014Date of Patent: August 8, 2017Inventors: Michael Fishman, Neal Markus

Publication number: 20170129689Abstract: An environmentally safer aerosol freeze spray formulation and delivery system that is under pressure in an aerosol can and can only be released by pulling the trigger of the trigger sprayer by a finger or fingers. The trigger sprayer unit cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The can is cylindrical canister housing and has a dip tube that goes into the can into the freeze spray. The freeze spray formulation in the can travels up through the dip tube up to the trigger sprayer and out a nozzle in which is cold and will flow out as an mist when the trigger is depressed.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2015Publication date: May 11, 2017Inventors: Michael Fishman, Neal Markus

Patent number: 9375593Abstract: An Aerosol Fire Extinguisher with Trigger Sprayer that can be easily held in one hand. The extinguishing agent is under pressure in an aerosol can and can only be released by pulling the tab of the trigger sprayer. The Trigger Sprayer Unit cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The Can is a cylindrical canister housing and has a Dip Tube that goes to the bottom of the can to the Fire Extinguishing Agent. There is Propellant in the can that pushes the Fire Extinguishing Agent up through the Dip Tube. Pulling the tab of the Sprayer Unit allows the Trigger to be pressed and be moved so the Trigger Pivoting Member of the Trigger Sprayer Unit is able to press down on the stem of the Mounting Cup of the Can which then allows the Propellant in the Can to force the Fire Extinguishing Agent through the Dip Tube up through the Chamber Hole into the Direction Chamber with pressure out the Nozzle toward the fire.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2011Date of Patent: June 28, 2016Inventors: Michael Fishman, Neal Markus
