  • Publication number: 20180164872
Abstract: A power-saving control device for a battery-operated operating table, and related tables and methods. The control device can include two microprocessors for controlling the operating table. An input device may send instructions the microprocessors via an input channel. The control device may have at least a sleep state, a check state, and an active state. Typically, in the sleep state, the first microprocessor monitors an input channel of the input device, and the second microprocessor is off. Upon receipt of an instruction, the control device switches from the sleep state to the check state in order to check whether the instruction includes a valid wake-up signal. This may include determining whether the instruction includes an address of the battery-operated operating table. When a valid wake-up signal has been received, the control device to an active state where, typically, both microprocessors are active.

  • Patent number: 9661119
Abstract: A device and a method for the wireless control of a medical device (30) by means of a remote control (10, 60, 70, 80), in which via at least one first input unit (12) provided via a touchscreen of the remote control (10, 60, 70, 80) at least one control information for activating and/or deactivating a control function for controlling the device (30) is input. At least one release information is input via a second input unit (18, 84) of the remote control (10, 60, 70, 80) which is independent of the first input unit (12). When the control information is input, the control function is only activated and/or deactivated when the release information is input via the second input unit.

  • Patent number: 7669261
Abstract: What is shown is an apparatus (10) for adjusting the bed (12) of an operating table, the said bed comprising a plurality of segments (14a to 14f) adjustable in relation to one another, at least some of the adjustable segments (14a to 14f) being connected to actuators (16a to 16f) which can be activated in order to adjust the associated segments (14a to 14f). The apparatus (10) comprises an input device (18) for the input of commands for the adjustment of at least some of the segments (14a to 14f) connected to actuators (16a to 16f). The apparatus (10) can be operated in at least two operating modes which correspond in each case to a specific position of a patient on the bed (12). The input device (18) has means for the input of body-part-related adjustment commands which are associated with the adjustment of the position of a body part or body portion of the patient.
