  • Patent number: 11932108
Abstract: A display panel with a first panel side and a second panel side is included in a display device. The display panel displays at least one graphic display object. The display panel includes a first layer which is a pixel matrix and a second layer which includes a plurality of predetermined primary subareas. The display device includes control circuitry to enable the displaying of the graphic display object based on a predefined display alignment in one of a first orientation and a second orientation. The control circuitry adjusts a respective light transmission to a predetermined individual degree for each of the predetermined primary subareas independent of each other based on a physical environment condition.

  • Publication number: 20160305898
Abstract: An arrangement is provided for controlling the heating temperature in a semiconductor gas sensor comprising a control loop, consisting of a heating resistor as automatic control system of a measurement device measuring a physical quantity representing the temperature of the heating resistor, and an actuating unit controlling a power supply of the heating resistor, and a method which utilizes the arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20050242679
Abstract: The miniaturization of electrodynamic converters causes and over-proportional reduction in power conversion density. The particular functional arrangement of the elements inside the power converter makes it possible to involve nearly the entire volume in the power conversion process. Flux concentration and multiple functions of different components permit and increase in the power conversion density in comparison to conventional miniaturizable converters. By rotating the toothed element wheel (9), an alternating magnetic flux from the permanent magnet elements (14) of the alternating axially polarized magnet ring (13) is conducted through the holed pin (1) via different magnet flux elements (21). Axially/radially oriented magnetic circuits (19) surround a flat coil (11) resting on the holed pin (1) and exert an induction action there.

  • Patent number: 6675681
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for machining platelike workpieces in a striated manner, whereby, in work steps, the material plate is machined by a controlled linear unit in a striated manner and always in the same X-axis direction. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method.

  • Patent number: 5370011
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns an actuator for converting rotary movement into linear movement. The actuator comprises a prime mover turning a reduction gear assembly which, in turn, drives a mechanical transmission including a linearly moving control element. To achieve precise movement of the control element to a desired position, and to ensure the desired position is retained as exactly as possible, a reduction gear assembly which is self-locking with respect to the maximum back-driving torque exerted on the reduction gear assembly by the mechanical transmission, is combined with a low friction, non-self-locking mechanical transmission. Preferably, the reduction gear assembly is implemented in the form of a strain wave reduction gear set and the mechanical transmission element is implemented in the form of a cooperating ballscrew and ballnut.
