Patent number: 8985031Abstract: A desktop elevator for providing a platform at an elevation adjustable by a user. The desktop elevator is positioned on a support surface and is provided with left, right, front and back frame members orthogonally attached to one another end to end. A platform is vertically adjustable to and from the support employing front and back rotatable brace members positioned on opposing frame members. The brace members together with channels, cutouts, locking pins and locking arms, enable the platform to be selectively distanced from the support upon moving the platform to and from it when locking latches are disengaged from the locking pins, the platform being drawn to and remaining adjacent to the support when pressure is supplied to the platform toward said support.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2013Date of Patent: March 24, 2015Inventor: Michael Gillotti

Publication number: 20100140021Abstract: A device for increasing the spacing of pots in an open area configured for attachment to a vertically actuatable fork lift supported by a moving vehicle such as a tractor. The device includes a horizontally extending member, plurality of forks, each fork including parallel rails, a first end of the parallel rails being appended to a continuous drive located within the horizontally extending member and a reversible motor geared to the continuous drive such that when the reversible motor is actuated in the first direction, the forks are caused to separate from one another and when the reversible motor is actuated in the second direction, the forks are caused to move closer to one another.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2008Publication date: June 10, 2010Inventor: Michael Gillotti

Patent number: 6539584Abstract: A self-locking hinge is comprised of a housing with spaced side walls, and a cogged wheel positioned between the side walls. A pair of slots are respectively positioned on the interior surfaces of the side walls. A stop is connected between the side walls in alignment with the slots. An axle positioned through a center of the cogged wheel has opposite ends positioned in the slots. The cogged wheel is secured in position when it is biased against the stop by springs positioned in the slots and engaged against the ends of the axle. The cogged wheel is pivotable when it is pushed away from the stop against the springs, and is automatically biased against the stop and secured in position when it is released.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2001Date of Patent: April 1, 2003Inventor: Michael Gillotti

Patent number: 6000345Abstract: A folding table for supporting a person includes an elongated tabletop comprising a pair of hinged halves. Four legs are pivotally attached to the comers of the tabletop. Four diagonal braces are each connected between the tabletop and a corresponding leg. Each diagonal brace comprises upper and lower members connected by an intermediate pivot. The legs at each end of the table are fixedly connected by a transverse brace. Four diagonal cables are each connected between the tabletop and the intermediate pivot of a corresponding diagonal brace. Four longitudinal cables are each connected between a corresponding intermediate pivot of a corresponding diagonal brace and an opposite leg. The cable arrangement provides improved rigidity and stability, and enables the legs to be folded while the tabletop is in a fully open position, so that the tabletop can be placed flat on the ground for some types of massages. The table can be fully folded by pivoting the two halves together.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1998Date of Patent: December 14, 1999Inventor: Michael Gillotti

Patent number: 5921696Abstract: An adjustable massage chair includes a chest support and a seat hingeably mounted to the outer ends of front and rear arcuate arms, respectively, that telescopically extend out the front and rear ends, respectively, of a stationary arcuate arm. A pair of clamps attached to the ends of the stationary arcuate arm lock the front and rear arcuate arms in their selected positions. A face support is hingeably attached to the top edge of the chest support, and is pivotable and movable fore-and-aft relative to the plane of the chest support. An arm support is hingeably attached to the lower side of the chest support, and is also slidably adjustable relative thereto. The face and chest supports are also slidably adjustable together relative to the end of the front arcuate arm. A pair of locking arms attached to the chest support lock it a selected position. A leg support is positioned between the chest support and the stationary arcuate arm. The hinged supports are all independently adjustable in tilt.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1998Date of Patent: July 13, 1999Inventor: Michael Gillotti

Patent number: 4971040Abstract: A portable massage chair provides an integral, collapsible chair apparatus enabling on-site massage therapy. The chair comprises a generally elongate upright body member having a pair of side panels and carrying a chest cushion and face cushion, with a pair of arm cushions outwardly extendable from the side panels. A leg portion is pivotally connected to the body member. A seat cushion and seat support member are pivotally connected to the leg portion, and extend forward through the body member side panels to present the seat cushion beneath the chest cushion. The seat support member includes a receiver element beneath the seat cushion engageable with a complementary post element carried between the body member side panels. Thus, the leg portion, seat cushion, and seat support member are all movable to be carried within the side panels for storage and transport.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1989Date of Patent: November 20, 1990Inventor: Michael A.
