  • Patent number: 11918292
Abstract: A fixation apparatus may be attached to first and second anatomical structure segments. Images of the fixation apparatus and the attached anatomical structure segments may then be captured. In some examples, the images need not necessarily be orthogonal with respect to one another. Configuration information associated with the fixation apparatus may then be received. Additionally, first image information may be received, for example including indications of one or more locations, within the images, of at least part of one or more elements of the fixation apparatus. Additionally, second image information may be received, for example including indications of one or more locations, within the images, of at least part of the first and the second anatomical structure segments. Manipulations to the fixation apparatus for correction of the anatomical structure deformity may then be determined, and indications of the determined manipulations may then be provided to one or more users.

  • Patent number: 9723289
Abstract: Predetermined three-dimensional video parameter settings may be dynamically adjusted based on scene content. One or more three-dimensional characteristics associated with a given scene may be determined. One or more scale factors may be determined from the three-dimensional characteristics. The predetermined three-dimensional video parameter settings can be adjusted by applying the scale factors to the predetermined three-dimensional video parameter settings. The scene may be displayed on a three-dimensional display using the resulting adjusted set of predetermined three-dimensional video parameters.

  • Publication number: 20150093488
Abstract: A device for forming portions of food is proposed, comprising a hydraulic press. rne press has at least one hydraulic pressure generator and at least two actuators, wherein each of the actuators comprises a working cylinder and the working cylinders are hydraulically connected. It is preferably provided that a die has at least two separate receptacles for receiving portions of food. The receptacles interact with respective pressing tools, and the pressing tools can in each case be moved by means of an actuator, in particular by means of a pressing ram.

  • Patent number: 8916222
Abstract: A device for producing shaped meat portions, the device including a sorting device for sorting meat into a first set of pieces having a weight which is below a desired weight, a second set of pieces having a weight which corresponds to a desired weight, and a third set of pieces having a weight which is above a desired weight. The device further includes a cutting device which cuts each of the third set of pieces to a desired weight so that the cut pieces having a desired weight define a set of selected meat pieces. A transport device transports the set of selected meat pieces and a freezing facility through which the transport device conveys the set of selected meat pieces and which freezes the set of selected meat pieces.

  • Patent number: 8668947
Abstract: A first preliminary product comprising individual frozen pieces of a first food and a second preliminary product comprising individual frozen pieces of a second food are combined by precompacting the frozen individual pieces of the first preliminary product in a premolding process so as to form a concavity in the first preliminary product and placing the frozen individual pieces of the second preliminary product into the concavity of the first preliminary product to form a single frozen starting product that is put into at least one mold cavity. There the single frozen starting product is molded into a ready-to-prepare frozen end product by compacting the single frozen starting product.

  • Publication number: 20090280227
Abstract: A method for producing ready-to-prepare molded food items, the method including combining a first food item and a second food item to form frozen starting products having frozen individual pieces and introducing the frozen starting products continuously or in batches into at least one mold cavity. The method further including molding the frozen starting products to form a ready-to-prepare frozen end product by compacting the frozen starting products located in the at least one mold cavity so as to mold the ready-to-prepare food items.

  • Patent number: 5794018
Abstract: Two sequences of signal packets are played. Each signal packet of a first type of signals has been stamped with a sequence number corresponding to the position of the signal packet in the first sequence. Each signal packet of a second type of signals has been stamped with a corresponding sequence number of the first sequence. The playing of the second sequence is synchronized with the playing of the first sequence by comparing the sequence numbers of the second sequence to the sequence numbers of the first sequence. In a preferred embodiment, the two types of signals are audio signals and video signals, and the video signal packets are stamped with sequence numbers for the audio signal packets. Each video signal packet of the video sequence is processed for display based on a comparison of the sequence number for the video signal packet and the sequence number for the current audio signal packet.

  • Patent number: 5774674
Abstract: Nodes of a computer-based teleconferencing network may be able to encode and decode video signals using different video compression/decompression algorithms with different parameters. In order to conduct a video teleconference between two (or more) such nodes, the nodes must first agree on what video algorithms to use. In the present invention, video capabilities are negotiated between nodes, where each node uses a table that identify one or more sets of video capabilities for that node. After video capabilities have been successfully negotiated, the video conferencing can proceed using the negotiated capabilities. Negotiated video capabilities may include algorithms, frame rate, frame resolution, bit rate, and bitstream format.
