    Abstract: An adjustable wheelchair includes a base frame having a first guide portion defining a first arcuate channel, and a seat frame having a second guide portion defining a second arcuate channel confronting the first arcuate channel. A first bearing assembly is secured to a front end of the first arcuate channel and extends into bearing engagement with the second arcuate channel. A rear bearing assembly is secured to a rear end of the second arcuate channel and extends into bearing engagement with the first arcuate channel. The seat frame is slideable in an arcuate path defined by the first and second arcuate channels for adjustment of a tilt angle of the seat frame with respect to the base frame.

    Abstract: An adjustable seating frame assembly includes a side frame member, first and second joint members, a footrest hanger, a pivot fastener and a lock fastener. The first joint member is affixed to the side frame member and includes a first pivot aperture and at least one first lock aperture. The second joint member is affixed to the footrest hanger and includes a second pivot aperture and at least one second lock aperture. The pivot fastener is secured through the first and second pivot apertures to pivotally attach the second joint member to the first joint member. The lock fastener is secured through a selected one of the at least one first lock aperture and a selected one of the at least one second lock aperture to secure the second joint member in a selected one of a plurality of angular positions with respect to the first joint member.

    Abstract: A wheelchair back system provides height adjustability of the back for the user, a lumbar support and bolsters for the back, as well as adjustment of the tilt of the back. The back system is removably affixed to the wheelchair by a pair of vertical channels adapted to partially encircle the vertical wheelchair posts, brackets affixed to the wheelchair posts, and straps which engage the brackets. A twist lock may be used to secure the straps in the brackets.

    Abstract: A wheelchair back system provides height adjustability of the back, adjustment of the tilt and a lumbar support for a user. The back system is removably-affixed to vertical wheelchair posts by pairs of upper and lower channels at the lateral edges of the back. One of the channels on each side is open to the rear and the other of said channels is open to the front, whereby the channels engage the wheelchair posts. A clip, affixed to the rear side of the wheelchair posts, releasably engages the front opening channels to secure the back in engagement with the wheelchair post.
