    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, the invention includes a method for allowing players to compete over a computer network in non-real time by using performances involving a individual sport, comprising: scheduling at least two performances involving the individual sport, collecting data from the at least two performances wherein the collected data represents results of real performances in the individual sport, and comparing the collected data in a reality-based competition between participants of the at least two performances to determine a winner, even though the actual performances of each competitor may have occurred independent of each other and separate from each other. In other embodiments, the invention also preferably provides one with a statistical report including ranking information which an individual sport participant may utilize to determine his performance strengths and weaknesses.
