  • Patent number: 9963273
Abstract: A film bag for storing a fluid, in particular a reagent or an auxiliary agent for a biochemical analysis method, includes a film, a seam, and an irreversibly destructible predetermined breaking point. The film is impermeable to the fluid and constituents of the fluid. The seam is formed in a fluid-tight manner between a first sub-region of the film and a second sub-region of the film and forms the film into a fluid-tight bag for accommodating the fluid. The bag is configured to be arranged in a chamber of a device that provides a fluid for a biochemical evaluating unit. The predetermined breaking point is formed from the film and is fluid-tight when a fluid pressure in the film bag is below a limit. The predetermined breaking point is destroyed when the fluid pressure is above the limit.

  • Publication number: 20150231870
Abstract: In a method for welding a first component having a channel to a second component, a lower surface of the first component is placed onto an upper surface of the second component, and a laser beam is transmitted through the first component and guided along a trajectory across the upper surface of the second component. The second component absorbs the laser beam along the irradiated trajectory, so that the irradiated trajectory of the second component is welded to the lower surface of the component in the form of a welding path. The channel has a rounded surface in a plane in which the laser beam is guided. The rounded surface is configured in such a way that a predefined power density of the laser beam is present at the upper surface, so that a continuous welding path is provided along the irradiated trajectory between the two components.
