Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes a first module of a computing system receiving application-specific data for determining utilization attributes of multiple application programs. A second module of the system receives data for determining patient archetypes. A third module of the system determines a clinical benefit of each application program based on analysis of the application-specific data. The system matches an application program with a particular patient archetype based on analysis of each patient archetype and the determined clinical benefit of the application program. The system selects a particular application program for use by a patient of a first patient group based on: i) a characteristic of the first patient group that is included in a first patient archetype; and ii) the clinical benefit of the particular application exceeding a threshold clinical benefit.

In a medical information management apparatus according to the present invention, a task information storing unit stores the information indicating the completion of task execution or the progress of task to be executed for the task generated in a plurality of the medical services. A task number counting unit counts for each medical service the number of the tasks to be executed, and a display control unit displays for the respective medical service the number of the counted tasks on a display apparatus.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically configuring a display device for an endoscopic procedure. The system includes: a video processing device for receiving image signals of an object from an endoscope device. A first converting device converts the image signals provided by a standard definition endoscope device into first resolution video image signals for display on a display device; or, converts image signals provided by a high definition endoscope device into second higher resolution video image signals for display. A second converting device converts the second higher resolution video image signals into first resolution video image signals image signals. A processing node receives: the first resolution video image signals from either the first converter means, or from the second converter means. An image capture means at the processing node captures still images of the first resolution video image signals received.
