Patent number: 11126680Abstract: A computer-executed process receives an object that characterizes a navigation capability of a website. The object includes a navigation parameter that specifies a navigation page of the web site, and a query parameter that specifies a subset of content of the navigation page. The process also executes a script to dynamically generate a navigation structure based upon the object data. The process detects selection of a navigation component of the navigation structure, and updates an address in a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) bar of the browser with a composite resource identifier to retrieve a requested subset of content of the selected navigation page. The composite resource identifier includes a subordinate resource identifier that identifies the navigation page, which is derived from the navigation parameter and at least one query derived from the query parameter, which specifies the requested subset of content of the navigation page.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2019Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignee: CA, Inc.Inventors: Christopher R. Wright, Michael J. Bauer

Patent number: 4978911Abstract: An electrical energy analyzer including a computer for monitoring energy consumption and supporting ripple control is provided with improved A/D converter resolution by applying a 1/2 LSB square wave offset signal to the non-inverting input of a differential amplifier for amplifying a current shunt voltage. The amplifier output has limited filtering to allow a 1/2 to 1 LSB random signal to be applied to the measurement signal entering the A/D converter.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1989Date of Patent: December 18, 1990Assignee: Oliver J. Nilsen (Australia) LimitedInventors: Phillip J. Perry, John A. D. Meldrum, Jordon Metlikovec, Michael J. Bauer, Clive S. White

Patent number: 4911831Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a slow sand filter for a body of liquid while the liquid is in situ, in which there is a carrier adapted to traverse the body of liquid, and a device carried by the carrier and adapted to skim successive layers of sand from the filter. The carrier is a floatable vessel and the skimmer device is an auger. The skimmer device is controlled by depth control means which are automatically adjusted in response to the contour of the filter.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 1988Date of Patent: March 27, 1990Assignee: Thames Water AuthorityInventors: Roger Davison, Michael J. Patent number: 4412768Abstract: A hydraulically powered unit which serves as a rear truck bumper and as a bale carrier for large cylindrical hay bales. The unit includes a pair of stationary end bumper sections and a pivotal center bumper section having a pair of sockets for receiving bale piercing spears. A rigid frame secures the bumper to the truck at the customary location for the rear bumper. The center bumper section can be pivoted by hydraulic cylinders in order to load an impaled bale into the truck bed for transport and to unload the bale back onto the ground. Spring loaded locking plates hold the spears in the sockets and can be released to permit removal of the spears when they are not needed to handle bales.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 1983Date of Patent: November 1, 1983Inventors: Michael J. Bauer, Alphonse H. Bauer
