  • Publication number: 20170317018
Abstract: Systems and methods for screening applicants are disclosed herein. A method of screening applicants is performed by a screening server. The server begins by receiving a selection of screening services and an applicant profile that identifies an applicant. The screening continues by generating screening results specified by the selection of screening services based on the applicant profile. A property manager is then notified that the screening results are available for the applicant based upon the applicant profile. The screening results are then provided to the property manager based upon the applicant profile. Based on these screening results, the screener or property manager can make a decision about the applicant and communicate a decision action to the applicant.

  • Patent number: 9625739
Abstract: A lens includes a center of the ophthalmic lens having a negative power that provides foveal vision correction for myopia; a first peripheral zone surrounding the center having a power that gradually increases to a first peak having a dioptric power that is more positive than at the center; and a second peripheral zone surrounding the first peripheral zone and having a second peak having a dioptric power that is more positive than at the center and that is different than the power at the first peak. The power profile slows, retards, or prevents myopia progression independent of pupil size.

  • Publication number: 20160048693
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method to temporally isolate data accessed by a computing device so that the data accessed by the computing device is limited to a single set of data. The method includes removing any data that is accessed by the computing device when operating in different modes so that the data is inaccessible by the computing device when operating in the mode. The method also includes switching to the mode after the data associated with the modes different from the mode have been removed. The method also includes operating in the mode based on a plurality of rules associated with the security policy in temporal isolation from any other mode associated with the computing device. The computing device is limited to operating in the mode and is prevented from accessing any data that is distinct from the single set of data of the mode.

  • Publication number: 20150301061
Abstract: A dye binding method for protein analysis is disclosed. The method includes the steps of preparing an initial reference dye solution of unknown concentration from an initial reference dye concentrate and creating an electronic signal based upon the absorbance of the initial reference dye solution. Thereafter, an electronic signal is created based upon the absorbance of a dye filtrate solution prepared from the initial reference dye solution and an initial protein sample. The absorbance signals from the reference dye solution and the dye filtrate solution are sent to a processor that compares the respective absorbances and calculates the protein content of the protein sample based upon the difference between the absorbances.
