  • Patent number: 9962820
Abstract: A tool for removing a seated bearing from a bearing housing of a machine having a rotatable shaft, such as a squirrel cage blower, the bearing removal tool being easily positionable within the assemble housing aft of the bearing and including a striking surface at partially circumferential relation to the shaft for exerting a generally normal force against the bearing sufficient to overcome the frictional force between the bearing and the shaft when the tool is moved quickly and sharply along the shaft against the aft side of the bearing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 8, 2014
Date of Patent: May 8, 2018

  • Patent number: 7219508
Abstract: An evaporator assembly for refrigerating a cold table comprises a housing, an evaporator coil, and at least one electric fan. The housing comprises a mounting portion that is configured and adapted to support the housing from a vertical wall of the cold table. The evaporator is inclined within the housing to reduce the occurrence of evaporator freeze-up. The evaporator assembly is configured to discharge air from the housing both upward and horizontally. Air is drawn into the housing from a space between the housing and the vertical wall of the cold table.

  • Patent number: 6347992
Abstract: A ductwork air freshener apparatus for distributing fresh air evenly throughout the building using the existing air ducts of the environmental control system. The ductwork air freshener apparatus includes a housing assembly designed for mounting to the ductwork of the house. A pressurized air freshener container is removably inserted into the housing assembly. The pressurized air freshener container has a fragrance under pressure within the pressurized air freshener container. An actuation assembly is for actuating the pressurized air freshener container whereby the deodorizing fragrance is designed for introduction into the ductwork of the house. The actuation assembly is coupled to the housing assembly. A control assembly is coupled to the housing. The control assembly is operationally coupled to the actuation assembly whereby the control assembly actuates the actuation assembly upon the control assembly satisfying a predetermined condition.

  • Patent number: 5458648
Abstract: A nonconstrained, total great toe joint implant for the metatarsophalangeal joint made of a first component with a convex, partially spherical surface ending in a rear surface from which a longitudinally asymmetric implantation stem projects and having a flange on the dorsal side of the implant which extends the convex surface past the rear surface. The rear surface is inclined 10.degree. relative to a normal plane which intersects this surface. The metatarsal bone is resected accordingly. The phalangeal implant component is made of a base with a stem for placement in a bone cavity, projecting from a rear side thereof and having a low-friction, concavely curved insert affixed to the base which slidably engages and cooperates with the convex surface of the metatarsal implant component.
