    Abstract: A lubricant composition is disclosed that comprises lubricating oil and a mixture of at least two antioxidants, the first antioxidant being a substituted diphenylamine and/or a heterocyclic amine and the second antioxidant being a substituted phenol. Also disclosed is a method of increasing the oxidation stability of a lubricating oil comprising adding thereto at least two antioxidants, the first antioxidant being a substituted diphenylamine and/or a heterocyclic amine and the second antioxidant being a substituted phenol.

    Abstract: Flame retardant systems containing brominated flame retardants and chlorinated flame retardants with synergists and char formers are incorporated into wood-filled resins in combination with compatibilizers to enhance physical properties and to increase water extraction resistance and long term durability. Desirable embodiments of the invention relate to brominated and chlorinated flame retardant additives, synergists, and char formers for use in resins, including polyolefins, fillers, wood-filled polyolefins, in particular wood-filled polyolefins comprising over 20% wood flour, in combination with compatibilizers and methods of use of the flame retardants and fillers. The invention includes methods of making and using the composition.
