  • Publication number: 20240086144
Abstract: Example systems, apparatus, and methods receive audio information including a plurality of frames from a source device, wherein each frame of the plurality of frames includes one or more audio samples and a time stamp indicating when to play the one or more audio samples of the respective frame. In an example, the time stamp is updated for each of the plurality of frames using a time differential value determined between clock information received from the source device and clock information associated with the device. The updated time stamp is stored for each of the plurality of frames, and the audio information is output based on the plurality of frames and associated updated time stamps. A number of samples per frame to be output is adjusted based on a comparison between the updated time stamp for the frame and a predicted time value for play back of the frame.

  • Publication number: 20240073266
Abstract: An example playback device includes programming for executing functions including, while connected to both (i) a local area network and (ii) an audio playback network configured separately from the local area network and arranged for playback of media content via at least the playback device, receiving from a network device via the local area network, a request for the network device to connect to the audio playback network. The functions also include, in response to the request, transmitting to the network device via the local area network, a message indicating an identifier of the audio playback network and a password for accessing the audio playback network. The functions also include exchanging one or more messages with the network device via the audio playback network to authenticate the network device for the audio playback network and receiving an audio playback command from the network device via the audio playback network.

  • Patent number: 5046601
Abstract: A shackle connector 8 for a scraper chain conveyor assembly in which the shackle connectors 8 are interlinked with chains 2,4, bolted to scraper bars 6 and formed with an enlarged portion or pad 20 serving slidably to guide the assembly relative to the inner profile of an associated trough or pan. The shackle connectors 8 are selectively heat treated such that the surface or surface and sub-surface hardness value of the enlarged portions or pads 20 is in the range of approximately 280-380 (preferably 340-380) Brinel Hardness and the remainder of the shackle connector, or at least crown portions 10, 12, have a surface or a surface and sub-surface hardness value in the range of approximately 380-550 (preferably 440-500) Brinel hardness and such that the mechanical properties of the shackle connector are enhanced while any propensity towards the propagation of frictionally induced surface cracks is resisted.

  • Patent number: 4722434
Abstract: Attachment of a scraper member--such as a flight bar 14 (FIG. 8) to a scraper conveyor chain 2 moving in pans 12 is effected by means of a land 42 formed on an extension 36 of the flight bar seating in a chain link 44. The driving force of the chain is transmitted to the flight bar through the land and no loading is transmitted to a retaining finger piece 50 bolted to the flight bar using a square headed bolt 34 captive against a shoulder on the flight bar. The retaining finger piece is symmetrical and hence reversible. In another embodiment, a short saddle piece serving as a race cleaner and chain support may also be secured to the chain by means of a land co-acting with the chain and retained on the chain by means of retaining pins.

  • Patent number: 4556246
Abstract: A chain sling assembly (FIG. 13) includes a main link 2 provided with two separable connector links 14 each carrying two shackles 50 and shortening clutches 66. Each connector link 14 has a first portion 16 profiled to co-act with the main link 2 and a second portion 18 profiled to co-act with the shackles 50, hubs 42 of the first portion 16 extending externally of hubs 44 of the second portion 18 and being connected with a pin 20. The shortening clutches permit adjustment of the free length of a fall portion of chain 83 by engaging a link 81 in a jaw portion 76.
