  • Patent number: 8146838
Abstract: A handheld showerhead has a showerhead portion including a plurality of spray nozzles and a handle portion including a fluid inlet that receives water flow from a water source and a fluid passage that transports the water flow from the fluid inlet to the showerhead portion in a first flow direction. A fluid conveyance structure positioned at least partially within the showerhead portion has a base with two or more inlet openings. A mode selector includes a control knob and a fluid chamber with a fluid inlet that receives the water flow from the handle portion in a second flow direction and a rotatable chamber wall that defines a chamber outlet in selective fluid communication with the fluid conveyance structure. • Publication number: 20110225416
Abstract: A system and method for allowing a user to select and manage software applications in their vehicle from any Internet enabled device and allows the user to remotely configure the content of each specific application from any Internet enabled device. Once the application has been configured via the internet enabled device, the user launches the application from the vehicle. Upon launching, the application dynamically retrieves the user's settings from the server and downloads any information or content necessary. In this manner, the application is personalized to the user's settings, without the user ever having to take any actions from within the vehicle, or to personalie the user's settings while the vehicle is in Park.

  • Publication number: 20110225259
Abstract: A system and method for selecting, downloading, and storing software applications to a motor vehicle includes a user selecting an application to add to the motor vehicle. Upon selection, the a vehicle service provider prepares the application for delivery to the vehicle by packaging the requested application source files and digitally signs the application source files. If the selection was made from the vehicle, the application package is delivered to the vehicle upon request. Otherwise, the vehicle synchronizes with the service provider at a later time. During this synchronization process, the vehicle determines that an application must be downloaded and requests the application package from the service provider. The application source is contained within one digitally signed application package that is delivered to the vehicle. The vehicle verifies the digital signature of the package. If the digital signature is valid, the contents are unpacked and stored locally by the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20110011953
Abstract: A showerhead with multiple modes of operation may include a first turbine and a second turbine, each disposed within a unique flow channel. The first and second turbines may interrupt water flow through their respective flow channels, thereby providing at least one pulsating water spray emanating from the showerhead. The showerhead may include a third flow channel having no turbine disposed therein, such that water flowing through the third flow channel is not interrupted and thus emitted from the showerhead as a drenching spray.

  • Publication number: 20100245124
Abstract: A system and method for wirelessly exchanging information concerning the location of E85 gas stations between E85 vehicles. The method includes transmitting messages from an E85 gas station that identifies the location of the E85 gas station, the time of the transmission and the price of the E85 gas, and receiving the messages by E85 vehicles that pass within a certain distance of the E85 gas station. The method also includes identifying that two E85 vehicles pass close to each other, where the vehicles periodically broadcast an E85 beacon identifying them as E85 vehicles. When two E85 vehicles are identified, the vehicles exchange information concerning a list of the E85 gas stations that they have stored from messages received from E85 gas stations and/or other E85 vehicles. The two vehicles update their lists to include those E85 gas stations that one vehicle may have that the other does not.

  • Patent number: 7720085
Abstract: Packet flow rate control techniques are enhanced by the interactive and early invocation of packet queuing to control short flows of packets and to eliminate undershoot and overshoot of a targeted flow rate. Packet queuing involves the scheduled release of packets in accordance with flow policies (priorities) to achieve a pre-selected outgoing target flow rate. The combination of controlled packet queuing and packet flow rate control with appropriate mechanisms for favoring one over the other improves the efficiency of data transmission.
