    Abstract: A wipe down knife of the type used in drywall construction that has a knife blade attached to a handle in a manner that the blade is rotatable by hand between two stable rotatable positions. The blade is maintained in either of those positions by a combination of a positive stop to prevent the blade from rotating in one direction and a frictional pivot to make it difficult to rotate in the other direction.
