Abstract: A control module for a high power motor includes a mounting frame made up of thermally-conductive material including a bottom wall and four side walls; a circuit board disposed within the side walls of the mounting frame; power switches configured as an inverter circuit oriented in two arrays mounted on opposite surfaces of the circuit board; an auxiliary circuit board extending substantially perpendicularly from the circuit board; capacitors mounted on the auxiliary circuit board with a long axis thereof extending parallel to the circuit board and away from the power switches; and connectors mounted between an edge of the circuit board and distal ends of the capacitors.

Abstract: The present invention is a unique business process system that looks like a free-standing ATM, internet access kiosk, video game, or check cashing kiosk. The present invention is a self-service tax preparation and electronic filing (e*file) device for Federal and State income tax returns. The Present invention allows consumers without access to a computer, the internet, a major credit card or a bank account to take advantage of electronic filing, direct deposit, refund anticipation loans (RAL), refund anticipation cashier's checks (RAC), and refund transfers (RT) without having to hire and pay a human tax preparer. The present invention will be placed in public locations, such as discount stores, grocery stores, postal service stores, malls, colleges and universities, and other retail or public locations.

Abstract: A method of packing articles including positioning an article retainer around a temporary article support and placing articles on such temporary support within the retainer, measuring the height of the articles in the retainer and automatically forming a container of enclosure of a size to enclose the articles. Thereafter the formed container is suitably positioned around the articles and container top is put on the container end to close the container and complete the packaging operation.

Abstract: A package forming apparatus which produces containers by means of molding thermoplastic material. A mold having a fixed cross-section but a variable length mold cavity is provided by a mold core having a bottom ring means outer shell unit in operative association with the mold core but which is movable axially of the mold core to vary the operative length of the mold and a removable top end plate is provided for the mold cavity.

Abstract: A device for guarding a telephone set against undesired use or accidental dislocation is fixably mounted between the cradles and has blades and a slide mechanism which is manually actuable to selectively extend and retract the blades into and out of blocking relationship with the switch hook buttons so as to render the telephone inoperable when desired.

Abstract: A device is described which is useful for displaying objects such as paint color chips wherein a nonrigid elongated carrier, such as a tape, has the objects to be displayed attached thereto in spaced relationship along the carrier. The objects are disposed in pairs on opposite sides of the carrier. The pairs are spaced from each other to form gaps. Tabs, which may be inscribed with names designating the objects, are attached to the tape in the gaps. These tabs are smaller than the gaps so as to define fold regions. The device may be folded in the manner of an accordian such that the objects may be stacked, one on top of the other, with the tabs remaining upright along the sides of the stack.
