  • Patent number: 11998929
Abstract: A process for concentrating desired particles containing a carrier-magnetic-separation with the following steps, providing a feedstock which contains the desired particles; adding hydrophobic magnetic particles to the feedstock which results in a loaded feedstock containing agglomerates of the magnetic particles and the desired particles or of the magnetic particles and the undesired material; separating the agglomerates from the loaded feedstock by a separation method which results in isolated agglomerates, breaking up the isolated agglomerates to obtain a suspension having magnetic particles in de-agglomerated form; and separating the magnetic particles from the suspension obtained in step d) by a separation method and provided that at least one separation method is a magnetic separation, and where the process has at least one further separation and where the further separation is s sorting, electric separation, screening, classification, gravity concentration, and flotation.

  • Publication number: 20240049617
Abstract: The invention relates to a communication system for an agricultural machine and an agricultural machine comprising such a communication system. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such an agricultural machine. The communication system for an agricultural machine comprises a main control device, which is configured as a central computing and control unit for controlling machine functions, preferably such as the positionally accurate switching on and off of distribution and/or processing processes; and at least one auxiliary operating component which is configured to perform an operating function assigned to it as a function of control data from the main control device and/or independently. The main control device and the at least one auxiliary operating component each have at least one Ethernet interface for connection to an Ethernet data network, for sending and/or receiving data via the Ethernet data network during the control of machine functions.

  • Publication number: 20230312023
Abstract: A cargo floor, in particular a trunk or storage floor, for a motor vehicle. The cargo floor includes a layer-shaped construction with a core layer, a first reinforcement layer and a second reinforcement layer. The core layer is arranged between the first reinforcement layer and the second reinforcement layer and includes a honeycomb structure produced in particular from polypropylene (PP). It is conceivable that the first reinforcement layer and/or the second reinforcement layer each include a meshwork made of a plurality of thermoplastic continuous fiber tapes (UD tapes).

  • Publication number: 20230170683
Abstract: A direct current (DC) hybrid circuit breaker (HCB) includes a current sensor and a variable inductor. In the event of a short circuit fault current reaches a preset threshold, the current sensor will send a tripping signal to a controller, and the controller will command the gate drivers to conduct all the switches in the semiconductor switch path. This action will allow the fault current to be commuted to the power stack. When the current in a fast mechanical switch branch drops to near zero, the variable inductor will be driven out of the saturation and the secondary winding will send out a “safe-to-open” signal to the controller.

  • Publication number: 20230100255
Abstract: A method and imaging system for contouring medical images is described. The method comprising: receiving at least one input 2D image slice, from a set of two-dimensional (2D) image slices constituting the 3D image, and at least one set of data representing an input contour identifying one or more structures of interest in the 3D image within the at least one input 2D image slice; receiving at least one selected target image slice, from the set of the 2D image slices; and predicting target contour data for the selected target image slice that identifies at least one of the same one or more structures of interest within the target image slice, based on one or more of the received input 2D image slices and the data representing an input contours.

  • Publication number: 20220324518
Abstract: A component of a motor vehicle, which is reinforced in at least one region subject to tensile loading by at least one stiffening tape having fibers embedded in plastic. This should make it possible to achieve local and weight-optimized stiffening.

  • Patent number: 9428956
Abstract: A drive arrangement (1) for actuating a roller sun blind (21) of a motor vehicle has an actuation rod (2) with external thread (3) and a hollow cylinder (4) with internal thread (5). The actuation rod (2) is arranged coaxially in the hollow cylinder (4). The external thread (3) of the actuation rod (2) meshes with the internal thread (5) of the hollow cylinder (4). Thus, relative rotation of actuation rod (2) and hollow cylinder (4) displaces the actuation rod (2) axially relative to the hollow cylinder (4). The actuation rod (2) is guided in non-rotatable fashion, and the hollow cylinder (4) can be rotated by a drive (6).

  • Publication number: 20090127041
Abstract: Vibration damper with amplitude-selective damping force that includes a piston rod, which is guided with freedom of axial movement in a damping medium-filled cylinder. The piston rod carries a piston arrangement, which divides the cylinder into a working space on the side of the piston with the piston rod and a working space on the side of the piston opposite the piston rod, where a flow connection, which, as a function of the movement of the piston rod, determines a damping force by means of a switching ring, which moves axially between two stop surfaces, in conjunction with at least one axially movable valve ring in a switching ring groove. The switching ring cooperates with one stop surface to form the boundaries of an annular space adjacent to the working space on the piston rod side and with another stop surface to form the boundary of an annular space adjacent to the working space on the side of the piston opposite the piston rod.
