Abstract: A seat operated lawn treatment device adapted for connection to a powered vehicle. such as a mower or tractor has a ground mobile wheeled base frame. A first subsidiary frame having a seat thereon is pivotally secured to the wheeled base frame. A second subsidiary frame is also pivotally secured to the wheeled base frame so that at least a portion of the second subsidiary frame is disposed under and moveable directly or indirectly by at least a portion of the first subsidiary frame. The second subsidiary frame includes a pair of axially aligned spaced bearings supporting an axle borne turf treatment unit and is spring biased to a raised and inoperative transport position of the axle borne turf treating unit when no weight is placed upon the seat of the first subsidiary frame. However, when weight is placed on the seat of the first subsidiary frame the second subsidiary frame is moved to a lowered operative ground-engaging position of its interconnected the axle borne turf treating unit.
