Publication number: 20200345185Abstract: Referring to FIG. 1. The invention relates to a housing for a soft pack dispensing container for wipes B, the latter featuring hermetically sealed edges 10, 11 and a rigid flip top A which has a frame fixed to the dispensing container B, a frame which surrounds an aperture 7 through which wipes are extracted. The fixed frame features at least two slide rails 3, 4 enabling the dispensing container A to attach to the supports within a housing so long as at least one of the slide rails 3, 4 is of a specific geometric cross section profile that corresponds to the geometric cross section profile of its corresponding support.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2016Publication date: November 5, 2020Inventor: Michael John Gordon

Patent number: 10694904Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing nozzle 2 for a container of wipes (not shown). The nozzle 2 features an annular projection 14 the inside of which features inward facing spikes 17. The spikes can be made from a flexible elastomer or a non flexible polypropylene material. The spikes 17 feature ‘slit’ sections of weakness that enables the spikes to flex upwardly when subjected to upward pressures from say a wipe (not shown) passing though the structure of the dispensing nozzle 2. If downward forces act on the wipe after it has been inserted into the nozzle so as to force the wipe 4 back into its container, two things happen. 1) The spikes 17 or spikes flex back to their original position thereby imposing space restrictions within the annular projection that imped wipe fall back. 2) The ends 20 of the spikes 17 dig into the wipe thereby impeding wipe fall back still further.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2018Date of Patent: June 30, 2020Inventor: Michael John Gordon

Publication number: 20150048105Abstract: Referring to FIG. 6. The invention relates to a container of wipes (3) with a dispensing nozzle (20). The housing (4) is provided containing wet wipes (10). The dispensing nozzle (20) extends from the housing. The nozzle (20) is formed with a resilient aperture (21) through which wipes can be withdrawn from the housing. The resilient aperture (21) is expandable to allow withdrawal of (wipes 10) therethrough, but is biased toward a contracted state. In use a wipe can be withdrawn through the nozzle and separated by rupturing the perforations joining the wipe to a next adjacent wipe with the nozzle expanding as required to allow passage of the wipe through the nozzle aperture. The nozzle contracts around the tail of the next adjacent wipe to prevent release of moisture from the inside of the housing and to help prevent wicking of moisture from a wipe tail.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2014Publication date: February 19, 2015Inventor: Michael John GORDON

Patent number: 8857614Abstract: The invention relates to a container (1) of wipes with a dispensing nozzle (20). A housing (2A, 2B) is provided containing wipes (10). The wipes (10) formed on a continuous sheet of impregnated material with spaced lines of perforations (11) dividing the sheet of material into wipes. A dispensing nozzle (20) extends from the housing. The nozzle (20) is formed with a resilient aperture (21) through which wipes can be withdrawn from the housing. The resilient aperture (21) is expandable to allow withdrawal of (wipes 10) therethrough, but is biased towards a contracted state. In use a wipe can be withdrawn through the nozzle and separated by rupturing the perforations joining the wipe to a next adjacent wipe with the nozzle expanding as required to allow passage of the wipe through the nozzle aperture. Patent number: 8544695Abstract: The invention relates to a support member and dispensing container assembly designed for a “squeeze to use” dispensing container. A support member 31 which rigidly attaches to a support structure like a wall, has a releasable attachment means 34 into which a free standing “squeeze to use” dispensing container for gels or liquids 1 can be inserted to releasably hold the container 1 to form a rigid connection whereby the dispensing aperture 3 of the dispensing container 1 faces downwards.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2010Date of Patent: October 1, 2013Inventor: Michael John Gordon

Patent number: 8448816Abstract: The invention relates to a container haying a nozzle or opening (11), containing a roll of wipes, for dispensation in a direction parallel to the axis of the roll through the nozzle or opening of the container. The wipes (1) are formed from a continuous length of material (2) with parallel side edges (2A,2B) having a leading end (3A) and a ‘trailing end (3B). The rupturable lines (4) extend from a point (5A) on one first side edge (2A) to a point (5B) on the second side edge (2B). Each rupturable line is more easily ruptured adjacent the second side edge than the first side edge. The wipes are arranged such that said point on the first side edge of the rupturable line emerges from the nozzle or opening before said point on the second side edge.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2008Date of Patent: May 28, 2013Inventor: Michael John Gordon

Publication number: 20120152974Abstract: The invention relates to a soft pack dispensing container for wipes featuring an aperture built into the lid of the rigid flip top. A soft pack dispensing container for wipes (1) is sealed at two ends 2A, 2B, has a rigid flip top assembly which has an openable, integral lid (5) which can be closed over the mouth (6) of the soft pack dispensing container (1). An aperture (8) built into the lid (5) of the soft pack dispensing container (1) is such that it does not allow the user to access and grip the first wipe with the fingers alone.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2010Publication date: June 21, 2012Inventor: Michael John Gordon
-
Publication number: 20120145738Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing container for wipes comprising: A dispensing container (1) featuring a dispensing aperture (2) to dispense wipes (3) and at least one variable width means (11a, 11b) built into the dispensing container (1) to enable the user to secure the dispensing container (1) to a surface on which it is standing with the user's knees engaging the variable width means (11a, 11b).Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2010Publication date: June 14, 2012Inventor: Michael John Gordon

Publication number: 20110240651Abstract: The present invention relates to a receptacle (1) and a waste bag (10) with a mouth (11) therein. Receptacle (1) has a housing (2) having an open face (4), and support means (3, 12) to support the bag mouth (11) adjacent the housing open face (4). A housing projection (6) is adapted to move from a first position way from a bag in the housing to a second position where the projection deforms a bag in the housing below the bag mouth whereby the bag has a reduced waist portion. In use with the projection (6) in the second position the projection helps to prevent the contents in the bottom of the bag being accessed, and the projection (6) is moved to the first position when the bag is removed from the receptacle (1).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2009Publication date: October 6, 2011Inventor: Michael John Gordon
