The apparatus mainly comprises a first buckle portion, a second buckle portion, a fire ignition material, a friction plate, and a plurality of interlocking mechanisms. The first buckle portion and the second buckle portion are used as a fastener and engage each other through the interlocking mechanisms. The fire ignition material is struck upon the friction plate in order to create a fire among an incendiary substance. The friction plate is integrated into the first buckle portion, which allows the friction plate to be firmly held in place by grasping the first buckle portion.
