  • Patent number: 7823758
Abstract: A vee shaped open-armed folding hanger (10) for an improved method of drying and storing watersport garments (20, 22, & 25). Current hangers support all the weight of the garments on the shoulders or shoulder straps causing damage to the garment. This hanger minimizes the stress on a garment (20) by supporting its mid-section from an open horizontal arm (14). By providing two steeply angled arms, bootie posts (12b), to hold booties (22) and glove lanyard (24) for gloves (25), all garments are kept on one hanger. When not in use it is folded to conceal the hook, eliminating the potential to inflict damage to a garment when packed together for travel. In the open position, the rotated vee shape provides more vertical reach than other designs; increasing the hanger's versatility. The addition of an auxiliary swivel hook (27) provides even more versatility in suspending the hanger.
