  • Patent number: 9062941
Abstract: An effect body is encapsulated in such a way that the encapsulation or casing supports the ignition behavior of the effect body or of the components. The effect body has a casing for accommodating the components of the effect body, which differ with regard to the chemical composition and the properties thereof. An additional component is located in the casing as an ignition aid. The effect body can be ignited through the top/side surface of the casing or by an internal ignition mixture located inside the effect body.

Inventors: Johannes Grundler, Juergen Hofmann, Rainer Gaisbauer, Markus Jung, Michael Koepf
  • Patent number: 8281776
Abstract: The invention pertains to a weapon that provides a range control (2), by means of which it is possible to set firing velocity, and thus impact velocity, of the ammunition or active bodies (10) to a distance to be discharged in such a way that, in particular, the non-lethal ammunition (10) continues to have a non-lethal effect. To this end, a type of pneumatic weapon (1) is described that, with the use of a shot pressure control, e.g. by means of a proportional pressure regulator (3), and/or additionally in combination with breech technology and valve technology, has a continuously variable range control.
