  • Patent number: 12084476
Abstract: The present invention pertains to an improved chemical synthesis method for Ahp-cyclodepsipeptides which allows straight forward and easy synthesis of tailor-made Ahp-cyclodepsipeptides. The invention further provides Ahp-cyclodepsipeptides for use as HTRA protease inhibitors and their medical use.

  • Publication number: 20050268748
Abstract: The invention relates to a tubular blank (22) for the production of drilling tools, wherein said blank has a forming part (26) that can be formed in a chipless manner by forming clamping grooves (12) and coolant channels. The finished drilling tool is fitted with a shaft for clamping in a machine tool and a drilling bit (20) having cutting edges. In order to adequately meet the requirements of strength and formability, the tubular blank (22) has a clamping part (16) integral therewith which is arranged on the end of the shaft side of the forming part (26), the thickness of the tubular wall of said clamping part being bigger than in the area of the forming part (26). The invention also relates to a method for the production of the tubular blank and to a method for the production of drilling tools.

  • Publication number: 20050271890
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine tool with a tool shank and a cutting head made from different materials, which are joined to each other on opposite joint surfaces in a positive material fit by means of a joint layer made of a ductile solder material. According to the invention, in order to obtain a solder connection which is substantially stress-free, powder particles made of a temperature-resistant material with a thermal expansion coefficient which is lower than the solder material are embedded-into the joint layer and the density of the powder particles varies along the entire thickness of the joint layer.

  • Patent number: 6540452
Abstract: The invention relates to a drilling tool for machine tools and to a method for the production thereof. The drilling tool has at least one chip conveyor groove (16) and at least one functional channel (20). In order to produce the body of the drill (10), the wall of a tubular metal blank is simultaneously impinged upon by substantially radially oscillating form-giving forces in several forming sections spread over the periphery, moving in an axial direction along the surface of the blank, whereby at least one chip conveyor groove (16) is shaped and at least one functional channel (20) is formed. When the chip conveyor grooves (16) are formed on at least two interspaced forming sections in a peripheral direction in the wall of the blank (50), the parts of the wall in the area of two opposite-lying chip conveyor grooves (16) come to rest against each other in a sealed manner, defining at least two functional channels (20, 24) on the inner surfaces thereof.
