  • Publication number: 20240162458
Abstract: A combustion section includes a casing that defines a diffusion chamber. The combustion section further includes a combustion liner that is disposed within the diffusion chamber and that defines a combustion chamber. The combustion liner is spaced apart from the casing such that a passageway is defined between the combustion liner and the casing. The combustion section further includes a fuel cell assembly that is disposed in the passageway. The fuel cell assembly includes a fuel cell stack having a plurality of fuel cells. The plurality of fuel cells extend from an inlet end in fluid communication with the diffusion chamber to an outlet end extending through the combustion liner and in fluid communication with the combustion chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240159397
Abstract: A combustion section defines an axial direction, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The combustion section includes a casing that defines a diffusion chamber. A combustion liner is disposed within the diffusion chamber and defines a combustion chamber. The combustion liner is spaced apart from the casing such that a passageway is defined between the combustion liner and the casing. A fuel cell assembly is disposed in the passageway. The fuel cell assembly includes a fuel cell that extends between an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end receives a flow of air and fuel and the outlet end provides output products to the combustion chamber. The fuel cell extends at an angle between the inlet end and the outlet end relative to a radial projection line.

  • Patent number: 7453311
Abstract: A method and apparatus compensate for process variations in the fabrication of semiconductor devices. A semiconductor device includes a control circuit that measures a performance parameter of the device, and in response thereto selectively biases one or more well regions of the device to compensate for process variations. For some embodiments, if measurement of the performance parameter indicates that the device does not fall within a specified range of operating parameters, the control circuit biases selected well regions to sufficiently alter the operating characteristics of transistors formed therein so that the device falls within the specified range of operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 4609127
Abstract: A portable dispenser especially suitable for blending and dispensing bacterial solutions includes within a single housing a reservoir, a pump, a valve, self-contained batteries, and timing relays. The relays are readily adjustable for determining over a wide range the length of the dispensing periods and the length of time between them. A small, efficient pump is used for blending just before it is used for dispensing. For applications requiring small quantities of additives, the dispenser can function long periods unattended between refills of additives and replacements of batteries.

  • Patent number: 4153118
Abstract: A perforator apparatus includes an elongate body having a center of gravity and characterized by a longitudinal axis extending through the center of gravity. The body is supported at a point substantially laterally displaced from the axis having the center of gravity therein, so that the body of the perforator apparatus pivots into a predetermined orientation under the action of gravity when the apparatus is lowered into a nonvertically aligned borehole. The apparatus includes structure for discharging perforating charges in directions having a predetermined orientation relative to a line extending from the point of suspension through the axis having the center of gravity therein. By this means the directions of the perforating charges may be oriented relative to a thin portion of a cement structure extended between the borehole and a casing disposed therein.
