  • Patent number: 8743705
Abstract: A wireless mesh network test system comprises a plurality of mesh network nodes, each comprising an antenna connection. An antenna network couples the antenna connections of the plurality of nodes, and a plurality of attenuators are distributed in the antenna network such that the attenuators simulate distance between the wireless mesh network nodes.

  • Publication number: 20120303828
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and systems for a cloud enabled virtual gateway. The virtual gateway can masquerade to a cloud-based application as a gateway at a geographic location. The virtual gateway can also receive a request from the cloud-based application for a device at the geographic location. The virtual gateway can then communicate with a third-party system to satisfy the request where the third-party system is communicatively coupled to the device.

  • Patent number: 7624452
Abstract: A system and method of configuring an embedded system from removable media. The removable media is connected to the embedded system and the embedded system determines if the removable media includes a configuration key. If the removable media includes a configuration key, the embedded system determines if the configuration key includes configuration data applicable to the embedded system and, if the removable media includes a configuration key and the configuration key includes configuration data applicable to the embedded system, the embedded system applies the configuration data to the embedded system.

  • Patent number: 7308570
Abstract: A system and method of booting an embedded system having a processor, nonvolatile memory and a remote media interface connected to the processor. Boot code is executed within the nonvolatile memory. The processor determines if a storage device is connected to the remote media interface and, if a storage device is connected to the remote media interface, program code loaded from the storage device to the processor is executed.

  • Patent number: 7185136
Abstract: Methods and systems for remotely accessing a universal serial bus device are provided. A requesting device issues a request for a universal serial bus device. The request is intercepted and packaged and then transmitted over a network. The packet is received by a universal serial bus host device having a universal serial bus controller and being in direct communication with the universal serial bus device. The packet is unpackaged into the request, and the request is passed to the controller for processing by the device.

  • Publication number: 20040015980
Abstract: Systems and methods for substantially simultaneously controlling and monitoring multiple computers are provided. This is accomplished by routing keyboard and cursor control device signals coming from a workstation to a selected computer for controlling and by further multiplexing video signals outputted by two or more selected computers for PIP display using a KVM PIP switch.
