Publication number: 20240171583Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating and running an instance of a dynamic access control system (DACS). Trust providers may be defined in a trust broker of the DACS such that trust information associated with the trust providers can be used to create a custom data structure. Resources and resource groups may be defined in the DACS. Policies may be configured or coded in the DACS to map the custom data structure to recourses or resources groups. Additionally, policies may be configured or coded in the DACS to route the data structure and request to network segments or shared with other parties.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2022Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Shovan Kumar Das, Jessica Kira Szmajda, Bashuman Deb, Sujan Bolisetti, Shridhar Kulkarni, Baihu Qian, Brandon Michael LaRue, Stephen A. Patent number: 11799755Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for management of network segments that cross geographic regions and/or other types of network divisions in a cloud-based network environment. Gateway may manage traffic across regions using routing metadata that includes a segment identifier. The gateways may also signal their routes across regions based on segment data, and implement the signaled routes using segment-based routing policies. Route selection may be performed using optimization data.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2021Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Anoop Dawani, Bashuman Deb, Baihu Qian, Omer Hashmi, Nick Matthews, Shridhar Kulkarni, Thomas Nguyen Spendley, Indira Radhika Pulla, David Jonathan Adams, Nicholas Ryan Lombardi, Brandon Michael LaRue, Aaron Scott DeBruin, Ramin Ali Dousti

Publication number: 20220321471Abstract: A message indicating an auxiliary task associated with traffic transmitted via a virtual router between a pair of isolated networks is received at an offloading device. A stack multiplexer at the offloading device selects a protocol stack instance to process the message. A result of the auxiliary task is obtained by the multiplexer from the selected protocol stack instance and transmitted to the virtual router, where it is used to transmit a packet between the isolated networks.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2021Publication date: October 6, 2022Applicant: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Bashuman Deb, Omer Hashmi, Thomas Nguyen Spendley, Baihu Qian, Guru Kannan, Shridhar Kulkarni, Paul John Tillotson, Ramin Ali Dousti, Indira Radhika Pulla, Yuxin Ren, Fahed Hijazi, Xiyuan Gou, Steve Ge, Nicholas Ryan Lombardi, Brandon Michael LaRue, Jaywant U. Patent number: 11310155Abstract: A category of auxiliary tasks (such as routing configuration management or packet content transformation) associated with transmission of network packets between sets of network endpoints is determined. A virtual router is configured to transmit the packets between the sets of network endpoints. Connectivity is enabled between the virtual router and an auxiliary task offloading resource. Results of an auxiliary task performed at the offloading resource are used to transmit at least some packets between the sets of network endpoints.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2021Date of Patent: April 19, 2022Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Baihu Qian, Omer Hashmi, Thomas Nguyen Spendley, Bashuman Deb, Guru Kannan, Paul John Tillotson, Ramin Ali Dousti, Indira Radhika Pulla, Fahed Hijazi, Xiyuan Gou, Steve Ge, Yuxin Ren, Brandon Michael LaRue, Jaywant U Kapadnis

Patent number: 8083887Abstract: A method of forming a container (100) includes heating two webs of material and indexing the webs into a vacuum thermoformer (40) which forms first (220) and second trays (110) simultaneously, wherein the second tray is disposed within a space of the first tray to define a reservoir (300) therebetween. A portion of the first tray is brought into contact with a flange portion of the second tray, and joined by a heat seal within the vacuum thermoformer. A punch device within the vacuum thermoformer perforates a drain aperture (117) in a central region of the bottom of the second tray, such that the drain aperture is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The cut-out section is adhered to the bottom of the first tray to eliminate the presence of any scrap material. The joined first and second tray is indexed out of the vacuum thermoformer and trimmed to separate an assembled container from the web supply.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2007Date of Patent: December 27, 2011Assignee: Pactiv CorporationInventors: Jon Michael LaRue, Craig Edward Cappel, Frank Andrew Petlak, Marshall Van Domelen

Patent number: 7921992Abstract: A container includes a first tray, and a second tray disposed within the space of the first tray to define a reservoir therebetween. The first tray has a first bottom wall and a surrounding first sidewall, which extends generally upwardly from the first bottom wall to define a space therein. The second tray has a second bottom wall and a surrounding second sidewall, which also extends generally upwardly from the second bottom wall. The second bottom wall has at least one aperture defined in a central region thereof, and also has an upper surface, which slopes downwardly toward the at least one aperture. The reservoir defined between the first and second trays is in fluid communication with the aperture.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2006Date of Patent: April 12, 2011Assignee: Pactiv CorporationInventors: Jon Michael LaRue, Craig Edward Cappel, Frank Andrew Petlak

Publication number: 20070135243Abstract: A sports tracking and analysis system includes a RFID tag implanted onto an item associated with a player and at least one RFID tag implanted on a game ball. The tags and reader are arranged to transfer data such as the time and location of player and ball to each other for readers positioned throughout the field. The readers communicate the data to a computer system designed to process the data and generate player performance statistics including real-time measurements of many characteristics and, over time or based on input data, historical performance statistics. A method of tracking and analyzing the performance of a sports game is also included.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2006Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Michael LaRue, David Pheasant
