  • Patent number: 7549248
Abstract: An animal decoy is provided that is easy to assemble for field use and easy to transport. The animal decoy has three panels assembled to one another to extend outward at approximately equal angles from a central point. Each panel has a cutout in the body area in which a flexible link suspends a tail to be freely moved by a breeze. The panels are assembled by resilient straps to be folded for transport and storage and quickly unfolded for field use. A realistic decoy of the rear of an animal is seen when viewed from any angle, with a tail that moves in natural fashion.

  • Patent number: 7367877
Abstract: A tool and method of using are disclosed for field dressing big game. The tool has a tip sized for insertion into the anus of the animal and a set of barbs extending a radial distance beyond the tip. The tip and the barbs are mounted to a shank and handle. Inserting the tip and barbs into the rectum causes radial stretching of the rectal wall, and rotation of the tool causes ensnarement of the rectum on the barbs. The tool is retracted from the anus, pulling a section of rectum external, to be closed for the prevention of leakage of bodily waste matter.

  • Patent number: 5162361
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treating diseases associated with elevated levels of interleukin 1 (IL-1) including inflammatory diseases such as arthritis, skin hypersensitivity and endotoxemia. More specifically, the invention relates to a method for the treatment of such diseases in warm-blooded animals, such as humans, which comprises the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of an aromatic diamidine, sufficient to inhibit IL-1 release from IL-1 producing cells. The aromatic diamidine can also be used to block interleukin 6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor from cells producing these cytokines.
