  • Publication number: 20240139540
Abstract: System and methods for treating and shaping a keratin fiber are provided. A light-based system includes an activation system configured with one or more light source. The light source is configured to apply electromagnetic radiation at a target region including the keratin fiber. The light-based system applies the electromagnetic radiation to the target region to effectuate photocrosslinking with the assistance of a photosensitizer on the keratin fiber and transition the keratin fiber from a first physical state to a second physical state.

  • Patent number: 11883680
Abstract: A system and method for treating a tissue is provided. The treatment causes a tightening or lifting of tissue. The method includes delivering a photochemical agent through a depth of the tissue to distribute the photochemical agent adjacent proteins within the tissue and irradiating the tissue with an electromagnetic irradiation at a wavelength that activates the photochemical agent, causing a protein response that brings fibers of the tissue closer together in order to one of reduce tissue laxity and tighten the tissue. A kit is provided to facilitate the method.

  • Publication number: 20230274361
Abstract: Improvements in distributed ledger technology for capturing, maintaining and updating data for asset-backed securitizations are described. The invention provides a distributed ledger platform which automates the capture of specified data regarding the underlying financial assets, including owners, trustees, servicers and other parties associated with asset-backed securitizations, and stores and maintains the data in a blockchain to provide users with a secure, reliable, immutable and distributed ledger of the data and to generate custom data reports of information stored in the ledger. An offchain database may be maintained in synchrony with the blockchain to allow for reduced computational load. The invention also provides a mechanism for managing changes in the data using a smart contract based consensus mechanism, for example, to record securitization party replacements in an automated manner.

  • Publication number: 20220249221
Abstract: One aspect of the invention provides a method of preventing or reducing stenosis in a subject. The method includes implanting a passivated graft comprising vein into an artery. The implanting of the graft replaces and/or bypasses a diseased segment of the artery. The passivated grail including vein is prepared by exposing the exterior surface of the passivated graft comprising vein to a tissue structure stabilizing agent (“TSSA”) under conditions sufficient to promote cross-linking of proteins within the vein.

  • Patent number: 11297164
Abstract: A method and system provides a device and content agnostic, interactive, collaborative and synchronized virtual world comprising of three dimensional and two dimensional virtual objects defined by data, which can be viewed, customized, built on and interacted with simultaneously by geographically disparate users with different device types, including VR, AR, Tablet, and Computer devices, whereby the content may be ingested from or controlled by data and models from external sources or the system's internal storage. A machine learning component is implemented as a set of software containers. The containerized solution can be deployed as an enterprise service, in a cloud architecture, or as a part of a monolithic deployment that runs natively in any one of the components as part of the larger architecture.
