Abstract: A coupler system comprising a coupler and an attachment member for quickly and easily connecting a tool to a piece of machinery. The coupler includes first and second coupler side walls joined by a lower coupler wall, the first and second side walls defining a primary axis therebetween. A plurality of coupler bosses are attached to the lower coupler wall, the plurality of coupler bosses being positioned substantially in-line with each other along the primary axis. A plurality of transverse members are coupled to the first and second coupler side walls. The attachment member includes first and second attachment side walls, each of the first and second attachment side walls including a plurality of attachment member slots sized and positioned to receive the plurality of transverse members. An attachment member boss is fixedly secured to the attachment member.

Abstract: A quick coupler for attaching a tool having first and second generally parallel pins to an excavator or the like has a coupler body and a lock plate assembly. The coupler body includes a pair of generally parallel sidewall plates spaced from and generally parallel to each other, and a set of cross members extending generally between the sidewall plates. The set of cross members includes at least first and second cross members spaced from each other and defining a slide port. The pair of sidewall plates defines a first slot facing in a first direction for engagement with the tool first pin and a second slot facing in a second direction transverse to the first direction for engagement with the tool second pin. The lock plate assembly, for releasable securing engagement of the second slot with the second pin, includes a lock plate and a lock pin.
