  • Patent number: 11849017
Abstract: A method and apparatus according to the present invention addresses and/or prevents lost protocol synchronization in HARQ systems caused by ACK/NACK errors. One embodiment detects lost synchronization errors for NDI-based retransmission protocols and restores synchronization by sending an explicit RESET message. In response to the RESET message, the transmitter aborts the transmission of a current PDU and transmits a new PDU and corresponding NDI. Another embodiment prevents protocol synchronization errors by sending scheduling grants on a packet by packet basis. The receiver sends a subsequent explicit scheduling grant to the transmitter based on an error evaluation of a received PDU. The transmitter will not send the next PDU unless it receives the subsequent explicit scheduling grant.

  • Patent number: 11750337
Abstract: In a mobile network, the transmission of downlink data blocks to one or more terminal devices is accomplished on the basis of a retransmission protocol with a first feedback time defining a time interval between transmission of a first data block and transmission of a first feedback message being different from a second feedback time defining a time interval between transmission of a second data block and transmission of a second feedback message. The first feedback message indicates whether the first data block was successfully received, and the second feedback message indicates whether the second data block was successfully received. A base station of the mobile network controls the terminal device to send the second feedback message on other resources than used for transmission of the first feedback message.

Abstract: An all-terrain load transport system including a cylindrical first base member and at least three pairs of arms is provided. A handle is removably attached to an attachment member disposed on the cylindrical first base member. The cylindrical first base member defines a space for receiving at least one piece of accessory equipment. Each pair of the three pairs of arms defines a wheel support assembly at an end of each pair distal from an outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The three pairs of arms are detachably attached to the outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The wheel support assembly includes a cylindrical second base member defining a space for receiving a spherical wheel. The spherical wheel moves omnidirectionally within the defined space. Roller bearings positioned along an inner periphery of the cylindrical second base member facilitate the omnidirectional movement of the spherical wheel.

  • Publication number: 20230224085
Abstract: The invention discloses a method (700) for a cellular system (100), in which traffic can be exchanged between first (110, 120) and second (110, 120) transceivers. The traffic is sent in data units, each of which is given an identifier, and which data units may be divided into segments. A receiving transceiver (110, 120) may send status information in data frames or data units (200, 300) about properly received, partially received, or non-received data units to a sending transceiver, i.e. the transceiver from which the data was sent. In the case (705) of partially or non-received data units, the status information includes (710) information about whether the data unit or units were non-received or partially received, and in the case of one or more partially received data units, which (715) parts of those data units that were not received.

  • Publication number: 20230207062
Abstract: A method includes obtaining, from one or more sequencing devices, raw data detected from luminescent labels associated with nucleotides during nucleotide incorporation events; and processing the raw data to perform a comparison of base calls produced by a learning enabled, automatic base calling module of the one or more sequencing devices with actual values associated with the raw data, wherein the base calls identify one or more individual nucleotides from the raw data. Based on the comparison, an update to the learning enabled, automatic base calling module is created using at least some of the obtained raw data, and the update is made available to the one or more sequencing devices.

  • Publication number: 20230204760
Abstract: Various technologies relating to a system that uses a computer-implemented model to determine optimal radar parameter settings based on the situational and environmental context of an autonomous vehicle (AV) to improve driving outcomes of the AV. Simulated sensor data corresponding to different radar parameter settings can be generated in simulation, and the computer-implemented model can be trained based on the respective sets of simulated sensor data. A radar system of an AV can be modified to operate using a radar parameter setting identified by the computer-implemented model, where the radar parameter setting is outputted by the computer-implemented model responsive to a state identified from sensor data being inputted to the computer-implemented model. The AV can use the output of the computer-implemented model to select the optimal radar parameter settings to implement.

  • Publication number: 20230204721
Abstract: A radar sensor system receives or generates radar data indicative of radar returns received at an antenna array. An encoder neural network encodes the radar data into first embeddings defined in a first latent space. A transformer neural network receives the first embeddings and transforms the first embeddings to second embeddings defined in a second latent space. A decoder neural network receives the second embeddings and decodes the second embeddings to generate beamformed radar data.
