  • Publication number: 20200179051
Abstract: The various examples of the present disclosure are directed towards a multi-physics controller that can predict and monitor ablation procedures. In some examples of the present disclosure, fat saturation images can be used to create custom microwave ablation bioelectric/biothermal models. In some examples of the present disclosure, a deformation correction methodology can be used. Thereby, microwave and mechanics computational models can forecast therapeutic delivery intraoperatively while correcting for deformation.

  • Patent number: 9302536
Abstract: A commercial vehicle wheel cover including a frame having a locking door, at least two hinge points, at least two spring attachments, and at least two retaining features. The frame has a front side and a back side, with the at least two hinge points arranged integrally and circumferentially on the back side of the frame. The at least two spring attachments are rotatably connected to the at least two hinge points. The at least two retaining features are located adjacent to said at least two hinge points in the radial direction, and the at least two spring attachments are secured in the at least two retaining features. One of the at least two hinge points is located on the locking door. The locking door is used to install the final spring attachment on the drop center or hub of a wheel.

  • Publication number: 20070021669
Abstract: A cortical surface registration procedure related to a diagnostic or surgical procedure. In one embodiment, the procedure includes the steps of pre-operatively obtaining a first textured point cloud of the cortical surface of a targeted region of a brain of a living subject, intra-operatively obtaining optically a second textured point cloud of the cortical surface of the brain of the living subject, and aligning the first textured point cloud of the cortical surface to the second textured point cloud of the cortical surface so as to register images of the brain of the living subject to the cortical surface of the living subject.

  • Publication number: 20050101855
Abstract: A method of compensation for intra-operative brain shift of a living subject. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of pro-operatively acquiring brain images of the living subject, constructing a statistical atlas of brain displacements of the living subject from the pro-operatively acquired brain images, intra-operatively measuring brain displacements of the living subject, deriving an intra-operative displacement atlas from the intra-operatively measured brain displacements and the statistical atlas, obtaining intra-operative brain shift at least from the intra-operative displacement atlas, and compensating for the intra-operative brain shift.
