  • Publication number: 20230000195
Abstract: An oblique-impact protection technology member (20) contains a layer (50) of closed cell foam containing a first surface (52), a second surface (54), and a plurality of wells (56) on the first surface (52). The first surface (52) contains a plurality of first surface apertures (58) and the first surface apertures (58) have a square shape. The second surface (54) is opposite the first surface (52) and optionally contains a plurality of second surface apertures (62). Each well (56) corresponds to a first surface aperture (58) and the second surface (54) is substantially parallel; or parallel, to the first surface (52). A helmet (10) and/or a piece of sporting equipment (12) may contain this technology, and a process may manufacture this technology.

  • Patent number: 11177940
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for evidencing the existence of a digital document has the steps of obtaining one or a plurality of time stamp(s) of the digital document, obtaining one or a plurality of cryptographic hash(es) of the digital document, generating one or a plurality of evidence key(s) based on the time stamp(s) and the cryptographic hash(es), and storing the evidence key(s) to provide one or a plurality of stored evidence key(s). A computer system for evidencing the existence of a digital document is also provided. A computer-implemented tag chain system is also described.

  • Patent number: 9788592
Abstract: A helmet contains a convex, hard outer shell, a concave, impact-dissipating inner layer, a shield, and a shield cover. The concave, impact-dissipating inner layer is fitted to the convex, hard outer shell and contains a front portion having a shield indentation, a back portion, a top portion a right side portion, and a left side portion. The left side portion is opposite the right side portion. The shield is pivotably attached to the helmet via a fulcrum and pivots about the fulcrum. The shield also partially occludes the shield indentation. The shield cover is fixably attached to the helmet and at least partially occludes the front portion. The shield cover also at least partially occludes the shield.

  • Publication number: 20150001283
Abstract: A mailbox has an interior cavity with an open front and a closed back opposite the open front. A hinged and moveable door covers the open front. An exterior surface is opposite the interior cavity and the exterior surface contains an exterior panel. The mailbox also contains a rechargeable battery. A solar panel is disposed on the mailbox and arranged to generate electrical energy for recharging the rechargeable battery. The solar panel is operatively connected to the rechargeable batter to form a circuit. A first light source is disposed within the interior cavity of the mailbox. The first light source is operatively connected to the rechargeable battery and is powered thereby. A photocell is disposed on an exterior panel of the mailbox and configured to block power to the first light source when the photocell is illuminated. Thus, the first light source only provides light when the photocell is not illuminated.

  • Publication number: 20040254253
Abstract: A foam-generating kit contains a non-aerosol container with a foam-generating dispenser and a high viscosity composition, preferably within the container. The high viscosity composition has a viscosity of at least about 0.05 Pa*s. When the foam-generating dispenser is employed with the high viscosity composition, the foam-generating dispenser generates a foam having a foam to weight ratio of greater than about 2 mL/g.
