  • Patent number: 8136690
Abstract: A vessel comprising a fluid-confining surface, a basal surface disposed below the fluid-confining surface, and a light guide. The light guide includes a first window partly defining the basal surface and a second window partly defining the fluid-confining surface, where the second window is disposed above a lowest region of the fluid-confining surface. In other embodiments, an isolating structure is provided that substantially surrounds the light guide between the first and second windows.

  • Publication number: 20080255536
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses include applying a biting force to a bite-piece, the biting force is applied by a user's teeth, wherein the bite-piece is held inside of the user's mouth. Closing the mouth and the biting force suppress the user's gag reflex and the user's Tonsils and adjacent Throat structures can be treated by spraying fluid onto the Tonsil or manipulating the surface of the Tonsil and related structures. The Tonsils can be cleaned thereby.

  • Patent number: 7137349
Abstract: A kick down and kick up catamaran assembles by hand with holes in main spar and stern spar ends receiving threaded rods extending vertically from the side-by-side hulls, secured in place with hand knobs. A bow spar with a line to the mast lifts the mast to vertical and is then secured between the hulls. A mast operationally rests with its proximal end alongside the main spar, held in place by an easily removable cord that wraps the main spar and slips into a mast slot opening at the mast proximal end. A trampoline stretches between the main and stern spars providing a platform on which the operator sits, tightened by a plurality of adjustable straps between the trampoline and the stern spar.

A rudder is mounted on each hull that traces the underwater relief or objects as they might impact the rudder distal end. The rudder rotates rearward on a horizontal axis against a spring bias about a pivot pin on a mounting plate as the catamaran moves forward as it impacts an underwater object.
