  • Publication number: 20220321086
Abstract: A balun is enhanced with design features that extend the operational bandwidth of the balun allowing the balun to operate at lower frequencies. The design enhancements also suppress resonances that otherwise cause sudden power drops at a resonance frequency while a load is connected between the balun's differential outputs.

  • Patent number: 11266439
Abstract: A device comprises a retractable shaft; a shaft biasing spring; and an actuator button. The retractable shaft is biased away from the actuator button by the shaft biasing spring. A magnetic attracting force is created between the retractable shaft and the actuator button upon actuation of the actuator button. Before actuation, a distance between the actuator button and the retractable shaft is great enough that the magnetic attracting force is less than a biasing force of the shaft biasing spring such that the retractable shaft is biased away from the actuator button. Upon actuation, the actuator button is depressed to make the distance between the actuator button and the retractable shaft sufficiently small such that the magnetic attracting force is greater than the biasing force of the shaft biasing spring to allow the retractable shaft to be biased towards the actuator button.

  • Publication number: 20210273723
Abstract: A dark fiber dense wavelength division multiplexing service path design microservice (ddSPDmS) can provide a scalable self-contained meta-data driven approach for a flexible implementation of a dark fiber dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) service path design solution. The service plan design solution can be used as a standalone solution or integrated with a network management application. In order to manage a large volume of circuit designs, multiple microservices can accept application program interface (API) requests in a cloud environment. Permission can then be given to any application to use the API to make a call to the design and inventory. Additionally, metadata templates can be designed to support a node, a link, and/or a topology for the microservices.

  • Patent number: 11033378
Abstract: A method for treating an aneurysm can include inserting a medical device partially in a first artery and partially in a third artery. The device can be expanded radially outwardly from a first, position to a second position to engage an inner surface of the first artery and an inner surface of the third artery, so as to maintain a fluid pathway through said arteries. Further, the device can be positioned such that, when the device is in the second position, a porous membrane of the device is located at a neck of the aneurysm.

  • Patent number: 10839734
Abstract: Techniques, devices, and systems are provided that allow for driving a device such as an OLED in various pulsed modes in which a momentary luminance greater than an apparent luminance at which the OLED is to be driven is used. The use of one or more pulsed modes allows for the lifetime of the OLED to be extended and reduces image sticking. Pulsed modes are also provided that allow for color tuning of the device by activating different portions of one or more emissive areas of the device.
