    Abstract: This invention relates to wax capsules containing a structuring agent for encapsulation of an active material which is unstable in a liquid environment. The structuring agent is selected from the group of a hydrophobic silica, a hydrocarbon material and a molecular weight of about 50,000 to about 5,000,000 and an organophilic clay. The invention is especially useful for encapsulation of a surfactant. A process of making the capsules is also described.

The copolymers inhibit bacterial aggregation. The copolymers are useful as antiplaque agents, as agents to prevent bacterial aggregation in an aqueous system or in a fermentation system.

K., the average particle size being no higher than about 3 microns. Preferably the latex particles are formed from respective monomers by emulsion polymerization.

    Abstract: The invention relates to the stabilization of mixtures of proteolytic and lipolytic enzymes in a liquid medium such as a liquid detergent composition. By inclusion therein of a stabilizing system comprising a polyol and a boron compound which are capable of reacting with each other whereby the polyol has a first binding constant with the boron compound of at least 500 l/mole and a second binding constant of at least 1,000 l.sup.2 /mole.sup.2, the stability of the lipase in the presence of the protease is significantly improved.The lipase is preferably obtained from Humicola lanuginosa, and the stabilizing system preferably comprises a mixture of sorbitol and borax.
