  • Patent number: 11933284
Abstract: A vacuum exhaust system includes a plurality of turbo pumps that evacuate a plurality of vacuum chambers. A plurality of chamber valves are positioned between the turbo pumps and the plurality of vacuum chambers. A plurality of branch channels are each connected to a corresponding exhaust of the plurality of turbo pumps and a main channel is formed from a confluence of the branch channels. A booster vacuum pump is connected to the main channel. A backing vacuum pump is connected to an exhaust of the booster vacuum pump. A plurality of bypass channels, each having a valve, provide a fluid communication path between at least some of the plurality of vacuum chambers and the booster vacuum pump.

  • Publication number: 20140012824
Abstract: A data format is optimized for storing data such as website traffic data. The data format enables easy access to and filtering of data, for example in generating website traffic reports. The data format also provides significant data compression. A method for generating a data file according to the data format employs linear compression and indexing to efficiently store the data. Data stored according to the format can be easily retrieved, particularly when a known value is specified and particular entries matching the known value are sought.

  • Patent number: 8239535
Abstract: A network architecture with load balancing, fault tolerance and distributed querying comprises a plurality of front-end servers, a plurality of back-end servers, and a database. The front-end servers are coupled to a network to receive data requests from client devices. The front-end servers are each coupled to the plurality of back-end servers. The front-end servers handle data requests at a macro level and divide the request into sub-requests that are sent to the plurality of back-end servers. The back-end servers are coupled to the database to retrieve data. Each data request is distributed across the plurality of back-end servers according to workload. The front-end servers are fault tolerant in that they can respond to a request for data without all of the back-end servers being responsive or providing data.

  • Patent number: 8103880
Abstract: A system for improved communication system for providing web analytics data between a first computing device and a second, remote computing device preferably encodes frequently requested data into code words, and also provides the remote client with a look-up table and decoding logic. In one embodiment, the present invention also includes a method for updating the local look-up table in the event the table does not have a data value for a given code.

  • Patent number: 8006187
Abstract: Tools and techniques are provided for interactive fallout analysis. Checkpoints, such as web pages visited, are defined through user input. As the second and subsequent checkpoints are added, fallout metrics are automatically calculated and displayed for the checkpoint pairs. The user receives fallout information interactively, in response to each change in the sequence of checkpoints, rather than being forced to define all checkpoints and then wait while the fallout metrics are calculated for a batch of checkpoint definition changes. Special coloring or other visualization highlights indicate when the fallout between two checkpoints is total.

  • Patent number: 7584435
Abstract: Overlay reports showing user interaction with web plug-in content are generated. Dimensions of elements within plug-in resources are determined by moving the elements to various locations with an output region and noting changes in overall dimensions of the output region. Once dimensions have been determined, overlay reports are generated including color-coded regions depicting relative levels of interaction.
