  • Publication number: 20230258227
Abstract: A radial foil bearing for supporting a shaft includes a sleeve-like bearing housing with an inner circumference and at least three foil packs distributed over the inner circumference and covering a portion of the inner circumference. Each of the at least three foil packs has an elastic corrugated foil resting against the inner circumference and a top foil. The elastic corrugated foil includes axially opposite side edges running in a circumferential direction and a narrowed portion disposed on at least one of the axially opposite side edges to reduce an axial width and a radial spring rigidity of the elastic corrugated foil at the narrowed portion. The top foil has an underside resting on the elastic corrugated foil and a top side forming a bearing surface for the shaft.

  • Patent number: 10253817
Abstract: A plain bearing assembly of a rotational element on a bearing bolt includes a bearing bolt, a bearing sleeve, which is non-rotatably mounted on said bolt and which comprises a first radial bearing surface formed on its outer periphery, and a rotational element which is rotatably mounted on the bearing sleeve and which is mounted on the first radial bearing surface via a second radial bearing surface in such a way that it can slide. Axial bearing washers, which project radially beyond the bearing sleeve, are secured to both end faces of the rotational elements. The washers run against axial bearing surfaces of the bearing sleeve, and axial flanks of the bearing sleeve form axial bearing surfaces for the axial bearing washers.

  • Patent number: 10125817
Abstract: A plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force, having a bearing ring arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in a housing component and having a first running surface formed on the inner circumference, and a second running surface formed on the outer circumference of the shaft or on the outer circumference of a sleeve arranged on the shaft, the second running surface being mounted in a sliding manner on the first running surface, wherein a device for axially feeding a lubricant to an end side of the shaft is provided, and at least one axially extending, radially open groove that is axially open in a direction of the end side of the shaft is formed in the second running surface.

  • Patent number: 10107333
Abstract: A plain bearing assembly of a rotational element on a bearing pin, the assembly including a bearing bolt, a bearing sleeve, which is non-rotatably mounted on the pin and which has a first bearing surface formed on its outer circumference, a rotational element which is rotatably mounted on the bearing sleeve and which has a second bearing surface that is formed on its inner circumference and that is slidingly mounted on the first bearing surface. The bearing pin has at least one lubricant channel opening onto the outer side of the pin and the bearing sleeve has a radial groove formed on its inner circumference, which groove communicates with the radial lubricant channel, and at least one opening branching off radially from the radial groove and opening towards the rotational element. The rotational element has a radial groove formed on its inner circumference and communicating with the opening and the first bearing surface is harder than the second bearing surface.

  • Patent number: 10047792
Abstract: A planetary gear bearing arrangement, including a planet carrier provided with a fixed bearing axis on which a planet gear is rotatably mounted via a sliding bearing that has a first antifriction layer on the axis side and a second antifriction layer on the gear side, wherein one of the two antifriction layers (8, 11) is created on a surface (10, 19) which is at least partially domed in the sliding region to reduce the edge pressure.
