Patent number: 11982008Abstract: An electroplating system has a vessel assembly holding an electrolyte. A weir thief electrode assembly in the vessel assembly includes a plenum inside of a weir frame. The plenum divided into at least a first, a second and a third virtual thief electrode segment. A plurality of spaced apart openings through the weir frame lead out of the plenum. A weir ring is attached to the weir frame and guides flow of current during electroplating. The electroplating system provides process determined radial and circumferential current density control and does not require changing hardware components during set up.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2023Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: APPLIED Materials, Inc.Inventors: Paul R. Patent number: 8573915Abstract: A trailer for transporting large equipment, buses, recreational vehicles, wherein the trailer includes a main deck at its forward end which is supported upon first and second elongated frame members. First and second running gear beams extend rearwardly from the rearward ends of the first and second frame members with each of the running gear beams including an upwardly and rearwardly extending first beam portion, a rearwardly and horizontally extending second beam portion and a downwardly and rearwardly extending third beam portion. First and second ramps are positioned laterally outwardly of the third beam portions of the first and second running gear beams and are movable between upper and lower positions. Vertically movable bolsters are positioned between the wheels of the axles which support the trailer at the rearward end thereof. The bolsters may be moved from a lower transport position to an upper loading/unloading position.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2011Date of Patent: November 5, 2013Assignee: Dakota Manufacturing Company, Inc.Inventors: Dale J. Dierks, Michael R. Hanson, Don L. Huber, Ray E. Paradis, A. Dean Oehlerking, Cynthia A. Bjerrum

Patent number: 7012203Abstract: A foot operable controller for a surgical instrument having a main foot pedal assembly providing either proportional or linear control signals when moved laterally and in a vertical direction. Friction between an operator's foot and the foot pedal is minimized by a foot pad having a rotating heel plate. A neutral zone between left and right control positions of the foot pedal enables the operator to move his foot freely without changing control settings. Vertical displacement of the foot pedal is indicated by a plurality of mechanical detents during both upward and downward travel. Changing detent resistance alerts the operator to the vertical position of the foot pedal, indicating that further vertical displacement will change an instrument control signal corresponding to the new foot pedal position, thus providing sensory feedback to the operator indicating a change in the functional mode when the foot pedal is moved.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2001Date of Patent: March 14, 2006Assignee: Carl Zeiss Surgical GmbHInventors: Michael R. Hanson, Richard G. Thorlakson, B. J. Barwick, Jr.

Patent number: 4576532Abstract: A retainer assembly for securing a sheet-like material to a wall comprising an elongated stud having an inner end welded to the wall and extending outwardly therefrom so as to be perpendicular to the wall, the stud having a pointed outer end whereby the sheet-like material can be impaled thereon and positioned so as to be adjacent the wall, the stud being provided with a longitudinal slit extending from the outer pointed end to a location adjacent the inner end so as to form a pair of longitudinal fingers, the stud being bent adjacent the inner end whereby the fingers are laterally offset from each other, the fingers being provided with alternate outwardly extending teeth and recessed notches along the longitudinal sides of the fingers opposite from the slit, and a retainer plate provided with a central opening therein such that the pointed end of the stud can be inserted through the opening to permit the plate to be slidably received on the stud, the opening in the plate being approximately equal to the distType: GrantFiled: March 13, 1985Date of Patent: March 18, 1986Assignee: Hanlock, Inc.Inventors: Michael R.
