    Abstract: A traction device for maximizing traction between the rear wheels of a motor vehicle and a road surface including an elongated telescopically adjustable tubular assembly pivotally mounted between the rear wheel axle and the rear spring. The telescopic assembly has an outer elastomeric cushioning ring disposed between the flanges of two outer sleeves one of which is slidable on and the other of which is fixed to an inner sleeve.
