  • Patent number: 11946025
Abstract: This invention relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by having a dispersion component value of the Hansen Solubility Parameter of less than or equal to about 17 MPa0.5. This invention also relates to laundry care compositions including but not limited to liquid and/or powder laundry detergent formulations and rinse added fabric softening (RAFS) compositions that comprise such whitening agents.

  • Patent number: 11949845
Abstract: During operation of a machine, an understanding of terrain features is critical. Accordingly, disclosed embodiments augment a video stream, captured by a camera mounted on the machine, with terrain information. In particular, an overlay is generated on at least one image frame. The overlay, which may comprise one or more semi-transparent bands, may cyclically recede from a foreground to a background of the image frame(s), cyclically advance from a background to a foreground of the image frame(s), or cyclically move horizontally across the image frame(s). The overlay may be colorized to illustrate the height of the terrain underneath the overlay.

  • Patent number: 8960624
Abstract: A medical device mounting system is disclosed for connecting a medical device suite to ceiling support structure. The system includes a plurality of portions connected to form a box beam structure that has high strength and high rigidity to withstand substantial bending loads associated with heavy medical device suites. The system includes a structure connection portion for engaging ceiling structure, a central mounting panel portion, and a base plate portion for engaging the medical device suite at or above the ceiling panel level. The mounting panel portion includes multiple mounting panels formed into a box beam shape. The base plate portion forms an egg-crate structure. The structure connection portion includes a plurality of tubular members that connect to longitudinal members of the mounting panel portion, and a plurality of plate portions that facilitate fixation of the assembly to ceiling structure. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20130118069
Abstract: A vine training system is disclosed, including an improved vineyard stake. The system includes a vineyard stake, a training wire, and end posts for holding tension in the wire. A plurality of vineyard stakes are positioned between the end posts to keep the wire a desired distance above the ground. The stake engages the wire via openings in the tube wall. The openings include a central horizontal leg and oppositely disposed vertical legs, such that the legs form a tab therebetween. The wire is receivable in the opening, and the tab retains the wire to fix it to the stake. This engagement is achieved without the use of clips. The stake can include a plurality of openings so that the wire can be positioned and repositioned at any of a variety of distances above the ground, to accommodate vine growth. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.
