  • Patent number: 10551491
Abstract: Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging systems that transmit repeated waveforms based upon pseudonoise sequences to generate SAR imaging data in accordance with various embodiments of the invention are disclosed. A synthetic aperture radar in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes: a transmitter configured to transmit superchirps, where the superchirp is generated by convolving a kernel with a pseudonoise modulated impulse sequence having a flat power spectrum; a receiver configured to receive backscatters of transmitted superchirps and digitize the received backscatters; and signal processing circuitry configured to perform matched filtering on digitized backscatters.

  • Patent number: 9651946
Abstract: Particular embodiments also include a optimization and simulation service that can analyze different variables for scheduling the satellites. The optimization and simulation service operates automatically to schedule satellites and ground stations to obtain their highest attainable performance relative to the system operator's goals as well as to respond to various unexpected behavior or events and performance variations, modifying the schedule accordingly. The optimization and simulation service leverages the sparsity of the system in the optimization such that the optimization and simulation service can calculate the change in utility for one satellite without reference to unimpacted satellite schedules. This allows the schedule to be calculated efficiently and provides optimum usage of the satellites.

  • Publication number: 20060167834
Abstract: An automated correspondence response system is provide for permitting a receiving entity to generate customized responses based on data extracted from received communications. The system also provides for automated management and manipulation of data extracted from correspondence received by a receiving entity for group profiling and to perform various statistical analysis thereof. The system analyzes content of received correspondence, such as celebrity fan mail, and manages the automation of responses via targeted or “customized” letters, wherein the receiving entity creates content specific fields or terms in order to respond to correspondence in an automated and yet relevant manner. The receiving entity can electronically define what data is extracted from the correspondence.
