  • Publication number: 20240123297
Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion with a front opening and a back opening, a face portion closing the front opening, and a back cover portion that closes the back opening and includes at least 50% of the total area of the back portion, a first port, and a second port. A first mass portion and a second mass portion engage the first port and the second port to close the first port and a second port, respectively. The first mass portion and the second mass portion each includes a material with a greater density than the material of the body portion and the material of the back cover portion. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 6783187
Abstract: A self-propelled vehicle includes a main frame which has a main-frame longitudinal axis. First and second powered wheel/suspension assemblies are connected to the main frame near respective first and second ends of the main frame. A steering system includes a hand-held steering controller, in an operator's cab, which turns the first and second wheel/suspension assemblies simultaneously and in opposite directions. A dump box and hydraulic dump box hoist mechanism are supported by the main frame. The operator's cab is supported along a transverse cab axis, perpendicular to the main-frame longitudinal axis, at a fixed longitudinal position along the main frame. A television-based pathway monitoring system includes a camera cluster and multiple viewing screens in the operator's cab. The multiple viewing screens are positioned in the operator's cab such that an operator need not change one's directional orientation when the vehicle moves in opposite directions.

  • Publication number: 20030107148
Abstract: Methods of randomly dispersing chopped carbon fiber and consolidating the materials together to make a fiber reinforcement mat are disclosed. The term “Z-mat” is used to describe the claimed random fiber mat in which the chopped fibers are not preferentially oriented in either the x or y direction in the in-plane directions of the mat. The stiffness in the Z-mat is substantially independent of the test direction in the plane of the mat. The Z-mat offers the distinct advantages of higher stiffness and lighter weight.
