  • Publication number: 20210395059
Abstract: The present invention involves a narrow aisle truck comprising: a vehicle body having length and width directions; wheels assigned to the vehicle body and arranged on two axes running in the width direction and configured to drive and steer the truck; a drive system configured to exert an acceleration torque on at least one of the wheels; a mast extending substantially vertically with respect to the length direction of the vehicle body between the two axes; at least one detection unit to detect at least one state parameter; at least one actuator to cause a movement of the mast relative to the vehicle body; and a control unit to: determine a current state, determine an effect of an actuation of the at least one actuator on the current state, and activate the at least one actuator to reduce a difference between the determined current state and a predetermined target state.

  • Publication number: 20210339994
Abstract: An industrial truck comprises a vehicle body, a lifting frame, at least one load wheel, at least one further wheel, at least one actuator, at least one detection unit configured to detect a current operating parameter of the industrial truck, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to define a target state of the industrial truck, to receive data from the detection unit to determine an actual state of the industrial truck based on the detected operating parameters of the industrial truck, to calculate the effects of possible adjustments of the relative position of the load wheel with respect to the vehicle body on the actual state of the industrial truck, and to instruct the at least one actuator to adjust the relative position of the load wheel with respect to the vehicle body to approximate the actual state of the industrial truck to the target state.

  • Patent number: 7980807
Abstract: A load-handling apparatus having a frame and a load movement component part accommodated on said frame in such a way that it is capable of relative movement, the load movement component part being guided on the frame by a plurality of rolling bodies for the relative movement along a guide axis, the plurality of rolling bodies comprising at least one arrangement of circulating rolling bodies, with a supporting section, in which rolling bodies in the event of a relative movement of the frame and the load movement component part roll along a guide track and a rolling track, and a return section, in which the rolling bodies during the relative movement of the frame and the load movement component part move from an outlet end region of the supporting section towards its inlet end region.

  • Patent number: 7712572
Abstract: The invention relates to a steering actuation device for a vehicle, in particular for an industrial truck, having an operating element for inputting steering commands by exerting torques on the operating element, having a sensor arrangement for monitoring the steering command input state of the operating element and having a control device for converting the steering command input data detected by the sensor arrangement into control information for a steering drive apparatus of a wheel, which can be steered, of the vehicle, the sensor arrangement detecting the respective steering command input state of the operating element by means of monitoring the elastic material deformation, in particular torsion, of an element, which is subjected to elastic deformation by means of a steering command input torque on the operating element and is coupled to or associated with the operating element.

  • Patent number: 7380826
Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial truck having a mounting plate and an add-on unit, which is fixed to said mounting plate by means of at least one fixing means, a bearing surface, which points towards the mounting plate, of the add-on unit being in touching contact with a mounting surface, which points towards the add-on unit, of the mounting plate, and at least one of the surfaces (bearing surface and mounting surface) being formed such that it is curved convexly at least in the section of the touching contact.

  • Patent number: 7340989
Abstract: In the case of an industrial truck having a piston/cylinder arrangement (20), comprising a cylinder (26) and a piston (22), which can be extended out of and withdrawn into said cylinder (26), as a drive and/or as guidance for a first component (12) for the purpose of moving it in relation to a second component (14), in particular as a drive for components (12, 14) of a lifting system (10), the piston (22) is coupled for force transfer purposes to a component (14) associated with it (first or second component), and the cylinder (26) is mounted on a cylinder bearing (34) of the respective other component (12) associated with the cylinder (26) and is coupled to said component (12) for force transfer purposes. According to the invention, the cylinder (26) is in bearing engagement with the cylinder bearing (34) such that it can be moved in relation to the cylinder bearing (34).
