The system also includes a second connecting apparatus positioned at another end of the board. The second connecting apparatus includes a front end configured to be positioned within another opening of the board and a bottom end configured to be positioned within the fence structure. The system also includes a plurality of corner posts configured to receive the first connecting apparatus and the second connecting apparatus.

Abstract: A water supply system for a plurality of water consumer units in an aircraft. The system includes a main tank configured to store a main supply of water, a main water pipe connected to an outlet of the main tank, and a plurality of water networks, each configured to conduct water from the main tank to at least one of the plurality of water consumer units. The plurality of water consumer units is partitioned in a first group of water consumer units and at least a second group of water consumer units. Each of the plurality of water networks includes a conveying device configured to convey water to each water consumer unit of one of the groups. The water supply system further includes a cross-feed valve configured to fluidically connect or separate the plurality of water networks downstream of the conveying devices in the plurality of water networks.

Abstract: A system includes a first mid-rail slit positioned at a first position. A second mid-rail slit is positioned at a second position directly across from the first mid-rail slit. A first and second stile are positioned between the first and second mid-rail slit. The first and second stile are inserted and positioned in a perpendicular direction to a bottom panel to be aligned in a vertical direction between the first and second mid-rail slit. The first and second stile provide separation for a plurality of decorative screen panels. The plurality of decorative screen panels are positioned in contact with the first and second stile.

Abstract: A system includes a top rail configured at an initial position. The system also includes one or more plugs positioned underneath the top rail. The one or more plugs and top rail are positioned within a same connected device. The one or more plugs include spring clips to enable the top rail and one or more plugs to be connected to a top portion of a fence. The system also includes a mid-rail positioned at the top portion of the fence, wherein the mid-rail is configured to receive the one or more plugs.

Abstract: Devices for extending the height of a barrier are provided. The devices comprise an elongate member having a downward-facing rail channel comprising a plurality of opposed longitudinal projections extending inwardly into the rail channel, a decorative accent feature mounted on the top surface of the elongate member and extending upwardly therefrom, and a top rail mounted onto a top surface of the decorative accent feature. The devices are configured for downward installation onto the top rail of a barrier panel, whereby a first pair of the opposed longitudinal projections rest on any upwardly facing surface of the top rail, while at least one further pair of the opposed longitudinal projections contacts the opposing side-facing surfaces of the top rail. Also provided are systems comprising these devices, as well as methods for installing these systems onto the top rail of a barrier panel.

Abstract: Kits for assembling rackable gates are provided. The kits comprise a pair of gate uprights, each gate upright comprising a tubular elongate member and a bracket. The tubular elongate member comprises apertures configured to accept a fence panel rail therethrough and into an elongate channel situated on an interior surface therein and configured to securely receive an end of the fence panel rail such that lateral and torsional movement of said fence panel rail is restricted. The bracket comprises a pair of bracket arms attached to an exterior surface of the tubular elongate member, each situated directly opposite the other with an aperture situated therebetween and configured to accommodate a fastener for fastening a fence panel rail thereto. Also provided are methods for assembling gates from such kits and gates assembled from such kits and by such methods.

Abstract: A piston for an internal combustion engine which includes a crown having spiral features designed to increase swirl of combustion gases in a cylinder of the engine is provided. The spiral features can be located in a combustion surface or in a combustion bowl of the crown. The increased swirl of the combustion gases is expected to improve mixing of the air and fuel injected into the cylinder, and thus cause the fuel to burn more completely, achieve better efficiency out of the injected fuel, and reduce unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas.

The elongated shaft has a proximal end secured to the housing, a distal end spaced from the proximal end, and a first axis extending between the proximal and distal ends of the elongated shaft. Surgical fasteners are disposed in the elongated shaft. The surgical fasteners are stacked at an angle relative to the first axis of the elongated shaft. A distal end cap having a surgical fastener dispensing window is secured to the distal end of the elongated shaft. The applicator instrument has a firing system disposed in the housing, and an actuator coupled with the firing system for activating the firing system to dispense the surgical fasteners through the surgical fastener dispensing window.
