  • Publication number: 20240175307
Abstract: The invention relates to a spindle drive for a closure element of a motor vehicle, which spindle drive has a spindle/spindle nut mechanism which has a spindle and a spindle nut, wherein a motor-side drive portion has a drive unit with a drive motor and the spindle, wherein the spindle is connected downstream of the drive motor, wherein a spindle-nut-side drive portion of the spindle drive has the spindle nut, wherein the spindle drive has a drive housing with at least one housing tube which is fixed axially with respect to the motor-side drive portion, wherein a guide tube is arranged radially within the housing tube, which guide tube is fixed axially with respect to the motor-side drive portion and axially guides a drive component of the spindle drive during the drive movements.

  • Patent number: 11821250
Abstract: The invention concerns a spindle drive for a closing element (3) of a motor vehicle (4), wherein in a drive train (14) of the spindle drive (1), a drive unit (5) is provided together with a spindle-nut gear (11) located drivingly downstream of the drive unit (5), with geometric spindle axis (A) running in the axial direction (X), in order to generate linear drive movements of a spindle-side drive connection (12a) relative to a nut-side drive connection (12b) between a retracted position and an extended position of the spindle drive (1), wherein in the drive train (14) a nominal break point (17) is provided which separates the drive train (14) at a predetermined axial limit load acting on the spindle drive (1) via the drive connections (12a, 12b), in particular a tensile load in the direction of the extension position. It is proposed that the drive train (14) is separated via the nominal break point (17) between the drive unit (5) and the spindle-nut gear (11).

  • Publication number: 20230184018
Abstract: A drive for adjusting an adjustment element of a motor vehicle, the drive including a hollow cylinder, a rod guided axially therein, two articulated parts configured to provide linear drive movements to the motor vehicle and form a drive connection to the adjustment element and the rest of the motor vehicle. The one articulated part axially fixed to a first component of the components of the drive unit and the other articulated part axially fixed to a second component of the components of the drive unit in the installed state. The drive has a drive spring assembly including a drive spring acting on the articulated parts. In the installed state, at least one of the components of the drive unit is axially fixed to a securing element by a threaded connection, and the securing element projects radially into an axial projection of a spring material of the drive spring assembly.

  • Publication number: 20230175302
Abstract: A spindle drive for a closure element of a motor vehicle including a downstream spindle/spindle nut mechanism, a spindle, a spindle nut and a spindle guide tube, for producing drive movements along a drive axis. A number of drive connections adjustable with respect to one another to transmit the drive movements, the first drive connection axially fixed to the spindle guide tube, a second drive connection axially fixed to the spindle, a drive spring configured to produce drive movements along the drive axis, the spindle guide tube has a first outer radius extending along at least one axial portion and on a side facing the first drive connection, a tube end portion with a tube end edge, that the tube end portion is widened radially so that the tube end edge has an outer end edge radius which is greater than the first outer radius.

  • Publication number: 20230060788
Abstract: A spindle drive for an adjustment element of a motor vehicle, including a tubular drive housing having a first housing pipe, a spindle/spindle nut transmission configured to produce linear drive movements, a first drive connection and a second drive connection configured to discharge the drive movements, the first drive connection forms with one of the transmission components a first drive train component and the second drive connection forms with the other of the transmission components a second drive train component. A housing cover axially closing the drive housing and arranged in an axially secure manner relative to the first drive connection. The first housing pipe arranged in an axially secure manner relative to the first drive connection. A housing collar in a first coupling portion of the spindle drive connected to the first housing pipe and in a second coupling portion coupled to the housing cover.
