  • Patent number: 8352141
Abstract: A method for actuating a clutch in the drive train of a motor vehicle, including: generating a respective position setpoint for each predetermined target interval to actuate the clutch; in each predetermined target interval, actuating the clutch in a plurality of predetermined controller sampling intervals; discretizing a respective position setpoint change into a plurality of intermediate position setpoints; determining a number of intermediate position setpoints in the plurality of intermediate position setpoint depending on the ratio of the target interval to the controller sampling interval; and specifying the respective position setpoint changes in steps to actuate the clutch.

  • Patent number: 7876084
Abstract: A method for the determination of a motor voltage limit, wherein a clutch actuator of an automated shift transmission remains motionless, including the steps of (a) raising or lowering a withstand voltage by an increment ?U, starting from a current withstand voltage (Ucurr), and (b) determining whether the clutch actuator moves under the changed withstand voltage.

  • Patent number: 7788009
Abstract: A method for compensating roadway changes in a transmission control system of an automatic vehicle transmission, according to which each change in the roadway is recognized and compensated. Also disclosed is a transmission control system of an automatic vehicle transmission, particularly for carrying out the inventive method, comprising at least one device for detecting and compensating changes in the roadway.

  • Patent number: 7555942
Abstract: In a method for checking the auto-opening function of an actuator-operated clutch, the clutch is moved out of its closed position into its open position or out of its open position into its closed position by the actuator at a predetermined constant speed. During this movement of the clutch a force/distance curve is recorded; the point of the path at which the force is minimal is determined; and the clutch is moved to the determined path point by the actuator. The actuator is deactivated; and it is checked whether following deactivation of the actuator, the clutch returns into its open position in a predetermined manner.

  • Patent number: 7248990
Abstract: In a method for measuring the speed of an electrical machine having a stator, a rotor and a winding, in particular of an electronically commutated motor, a speed-measurement signal ? is sampled, in that a measured speed value ?(k) for the rotor is determined for each of a series of sampling instants. Moreover, a moment of inertia value for the mass moment of inertia of the rotor is determined. In addition, a current signal I is sampled, in that a current value I(k) for the electrical current in the winding is determined for each of the sampling instants. An estimated value ?s(k) for each of the measured speed values ?(k) is determined from a measured speed value ?k(k?1) assigned to an earlier sampling instant, from the current signal I and from the moment of inertia value. A tolerance band containing the estimated value ?s(k) is assigned to this estimated value ?s(k).
